Armand an useful film. for Christians and, in same measure, for the searcher of answers in crisis period. useful for discover a great problem in Christian circles debates and its solution. so, for large part of its viewers, the film is far to be a Sci. Fi. but a predictable script. as Greek Orthodox, I am not the fan of manner to present the problem - in Protestant way - but it could be one of forms for remind the prediction from New Testament. so, it is only a Protestant movie with its virtues and, for a part of public, its errors. a good movie for message. but it only presents but not has the ambition to convince. a film who reminds many black utopia but, in same measure , the word from Apocalypse. a film who reflects many social fears of last decades.

the_wolf_imdb There is one problem with Christian movies: They are NOT labeled as Christian movies ("CH" rating or something like that). I have bought this movie discounted, but I still feel like I was robbed. I have expected "immense SF thriller" from "near future, about the mind control and the heroes who are the only hope to remove the dictatorship". What I got is almost two hours cheesy Christian propaganda, way too long, boring, cheesy, single dimensional, no effects, tragic dialogs. If I would be interested in such material, I can get plenty of this for free. There is NO action, NO SF (even Space Truckers are more SF than this!) The view of "God's" or "free" people to "dictatorship" is not even naive, it is complete off track. The "1984" seems absolutely great and thrilling in comparison with this piece of crap. "1984" is depressive, realistic, chilling view into communistic-like future with no chance for individualism and no chance to victory. Here you have totally unrealistic view to dictatorship - enemies are allowed to talk and encourage those who should be terrified by punishment, prison cell walls full of Bible texts, prisoners are dressed clean and allowed to pray etc. etc. The dictatorships DO NOT work that way. If you want to see how real dictatorships work in their "correctional facilities", watch Gray Zone, Killing Fields or Katyn. This is just very neat, very boring, generic Christian brainwash with very standard message: Ye shall be evangelized to the exquisite death by love of Christ and the boredom! So: I want $3 back and 2 hours my life too!

victor-pimentel This movie is so bad it led me to write this comment.I have nothing to say about it, only that it's a movie that doesn't steal your time (like other bad movies), it's so bad that you would rather want to die instantly than see it again.Indeed, I would hate the director and all the actors forever. With special hate to Stephen Baldwin, ¡I'll never forget your participation in this sh*t!If the movie had the Christian propaganda as its goal, it has absolutely FAILED, it would cause the contrary effect in people with brains.

nucretionxgrace I have loved this movie from the first time I saw it aired on TBN. I have told many people about this movie. It is one of the most accurate depictions of the how I believe the tribulation time will be, based on scripture. God's saving grace (power) that is present today will, one day, be removed from this world and many who have never heard the truth will - out of fear - follow darkness. It is the sole mission of Believers now to tell those that are lost about God's love, forgiveness & salvation. I don't believe I will be present to 'see this movie played out', but true to the Word, millions will be. If you are a Believer and have friends that are not yet in the Kingdom, I challenge you to begin to share the truth with them - often. If verbal witnessing is uncomfortable for you, (or if your walk lacks the power, authority or even presence of God enough to bring others to the Saving knowledge of Christ) minister to your friends or loved ones by sharing this movie.I'd like to obtain a copy for my ministry\witnessing library.
