zarekin Yes, they all talk about the beautiful terrorist but Amanda Wyss is really the scene stealer in this otherwise BAD MOVIE. ++++ SPOILER ALERT ++++ Questions that merit an answer: 1) How can you believe they would use an SR71 carrying four people in a "cargo compartment" where all an SR71 has in that section of its body is a huge fuel tank? 2) How come everyone in the plane did not die horribly poisoned with the "biological weapon"? 3) How is it possible that Dudikoff, who did not know how to fly a plane, manages to land a 747 so smoothly and smack in the middle of the runway without any kind of coaching? For that matter, how is it possible that after going down to 10,000 ft because of decompression the plane was PERFECTLY aligned with the runway (how convenient) and Dudikoff only had to apply the brakes? For God's sakes, how did he know where the brakes were? 4) Don't people know that explosive decompression does not last forever - only while pressure equalizes inside and outside the plane - but the characters in this movie had to hold on for dear life even after a good 10 minutes had passed since the door had been opened...? And so on and so forth - if you took the time to read my comment forget about the movie (or watch it to catch a sight of beautiful Amanda Wyss...)
mal karma This was the crappiest crap i've seen...this week. Dudikoff is really an action star wannabe without any things to highlight... yeah, it's the same plot as in Executive Decision, but with a bigger hostage (not senator, but vicepresident) and an older stealth plane... i don't consider it as a remake of ED but a mere and plain copy... by the way, in the last scene, when the arm injured soldier makes the military salute to Dude, as he has his right arm injured he does it... with his left arm! isn't that forbidden? please Mr Dudikoff, stop making this duuuummmmmbbbb and boring stuff, we don't need you at all, i mean it
PHILLIPBOSTON The only reason I stayed up late one night to watch this was because Gina Mari was in it. However after seeing the first few minutes of the film I was presently surprised. Micheal Dudikoff always makes a good action hero, and excelled himself this time around. Also Richard Norton was in "over the top" form as the leader of a gang of mercanaries which includes the beautiful Gina Mari. The plot involves Norton's gang taking control of a plane which has one of the Presidents Interns or something like that on board. I'm sure you can work the rest out for yourself, it's basically a copy of Executive Desicion. Anyway if you like action films this one is probably for you, I do and must say I enjoyed it very much. Thanks to all involved!!
arcane1 ~contains spoilersWhatever the director was trying to achieve with this film, I do not know. In my opinion, all he delivered was a messed up plot that barely rivals that of Executive Decision, a film whose story it was painfully obvious that he wanted to recreate. Come on. A vice president traveling in a standard 747 passenger plane? That would never happen, especially in 1997, when this movie was made. The VP always travels in a US government plane, Air Force 2. This is clearly a low-budget, poorly-made film that the makers of Executive Decision didn't want to sue since the makers of Executive Command wouldn't have to money to pay them anyway.
