invisibleunicornninja As a fan of the show, I watched this movie. Despite how cheap it is, its actually pretty creative. With a higher budget and better direction, this movie could've been better. I was entertained when I watched, but I do remember finding that some scenes could've been a bit polished. Its not as bad as some other movies based on TV shows, but it could've been better.
Emily Hammell The plot was cute and believable up until the end. Basically, this movie was focused on the constant tension between the twins, AKA Cody's constant know-it-all attitude and Zack's slacker, let's-disrupt-everything personality. In this movie, it comes to a boil when Zack kills Cody's summer internship opportunity and Cody declares "We may be twins, but we aren't brothers". Zack finds a new internship, though: Once focused on the relationship between twins. At this internship, they eat this "magic fruit" that allows them to feel what the other is feeling, mentally and physically, which inevitably fixes their relationship.Of course. This is where things get weird: The scientist running the entire thing has a master plan of making a set of twins have one mind, and then making each set of twins able to be controlled by one mind. It ends up with the Sprouse twins randomly being able to read each others minds, the other twins coming after them, zombie-like, while chanting "Get Zack and Cody", and then them being strapped to these tables that supposedly causes their minds to merge into one. While this is happening, the other kids from the ship and the scientist who controlled Cody's original internship somehow manage to sneak into the lab without any of the zombie twins stopping them, and we find out that the evil scientist and the other internship scientist are twins! And the mad scientist had these weird skin masks that allowed him to change his face at will! Before we find this out, though, the machine is turned out and Zack and Cody's "souls" come out of them and have an epic floating fight about who's brain should be dominant. Supposedly, their fighting breaks the machine and the scientists figure out their problems and Bailey lassos the mad scientist and Mr. Mosbey shows up just in time with the police to save everyone. And they live happily ever after, the end.One thing I have to give the Sprouse twins is that they did a good job with the ridiculous plot they were given. Even with the stupid lines and odd antics and just overall weirdness, their characters were believable. Cringe-worth, but believable.6/10, for the good beginning and good acting.
Vaughan A Davies (brutalkid1997) not the best they could of done a better plot would of been good the plot was weird and odd and really did work at some points but not all of them there were some really dumb mistakes, some unfunny moments , when they talk in there head it could be funnier The movie premiered with 5.228 million viewersThe Suite Life Movie is a comedy-drama science fiction film directed by Sean McNamara, written by Michael Saltzman, and starring Dylan and Cole Sprouse, Brenda Song, Debby Ryan, Matthew Timmons, John Ducey, Matthew Glave, and Phill Lewis. The Disney Channel Original Movie is based on the pair of Disney Channel sitcoms The Suite Life of Zack & Cody and The Suite Life on Deck created by Danny Kallis and Jim Geoghan. Dylan and Cole Sprouse were also co-producers for the movie. The film premiered on March 25, 2011 on the Disney Channel. A sneak peek was shown during the Disney Channel Shake It Up New Years event.i found this movie very funny and it's not as funny as i hoped but its still good i'd give it either 7 or 8 /10
Kobe Busia Just when I thought Dylan and Cole Sprouse would never do a DCOM, they finally did, and I thought it was really cool. The story was well structured, Dylan and Cole's acting was much more professional than in the show, plus it was also very interesting to have Zack and Cody portrayed in a more serious light. This movie definitely had some surprises, considering that it was from the director of the Even Stevens Movie, but it's true that they could've focused on other characters besides Zack and Cody. As usual, Phill Lewis did great as Moseby, and Brenda Song does a great job as well. The movie was also a good opportunity for the filmmakers to mend and sort of add new development to Zack and Cody's brotherly relationship, and as a result, they learned to understand each other better. Overall great film, I give it a 9/10.
