miked6022 ...is how I would describe this film if movies like "Transformers," "The Terminator," and "The Matrix" were never made. However, since those films do exist, "Transmorphers" becomes nothing more that a Sci/Fi ripoff. Writer/Director Leigh Scott, apparently, believes that it is appropriate film making to take scenes from several different successful movies and put them all together in one script. Transmorphers, as a result, is nothing more than a Sci/Fi potpourri of the last two decades in Hollywoood. Scott seems to even get "inspiration" from movies like "Demolition Man" and Saturday morning cartoons like "Gobots."The acting is labored and one-dimensional. These actors/actresses have the range of a slingshot, which is not uncommon for a film by The Asylum. The dialogue is meaningless, pointless, and practically inaudible. The special effects are beyond terrible to the point of laughable. R2D2 and Johnny 5 are more menacing than these robots.Save your time...save your money...save your sanity...avoid this movie.
Frumious_Bandersnatch_46 I get the strongest impression that not none of these actors were hired for their acting talent. Truth to tell, I've seen better acting in community theatre. The acting level here reminds me of a very old joke about an actress who was leaving Hollywood. She'd been offered a position as a department store mannequin. The one she was replacing was too emotional. And the writing reminds me of a comic strip that's almost as old as that joke: "Uncle Cosmo, why do they call it a Word Processor?" "It's really very simple, Skyler. You've seen what food processors do to food?" (2011-09-29)
Brandon Brown This blew me and friends away?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Well I picked this up knowing it was a crap rip off from transformers and well the great graphics and special effects along with the great acting and storyline were just pure genius. This film although seems to look bad was just insanely great and the director Leigh Scott should be awarded the highest award in film history for his amazing talents. He has inspired me greatly to make some titles myself within the filming industry and I hope to be as great as him in the near future.Leigh Scott had hired Matthew Wolf to be the main protagonist in this blockbuster title. His acting skills are amazing in every aspect of the filming industry and he, himself should be awarded a knighthood from the queen of England.I have seen many films throughout 2010/11 but I strongly suggest that this is a must watch film. I have watched such films as Avatar, Kings Speech and recently Paul, but strongly rate this one the best. Although the cover doesn't look as is it will be a blockbuster movie trust me it is.I have watched the sequel, Transmorphers: Fall of man, unlike most sequels for example star wars the more they went into the film the worse the sequel was. But I believe Transmorphers: Fall of man is the best sequel I have ever seen. While above I spoke of Star Wars I believe Transmorphers is also the best Sci-fi film I've seen with such amazing acting and special effects. In one scene you are able to watch the robots manage to take over the Earth but amazing acting by Amy Weber manages to team up with Matthew Wolf to pair up as amazing double act to save the Earth. In many scenes it is an intense race for survival with many moments which leave you almost jumping out your seat when the actors are victorious, moments like these are often found in this intense blockbuster and make this again a must see film.In conclusion I feel that people should not judge the cover before watching the film and must see this.
golddigga13 i didn't read all the comments but i could tell from the first few that the majority of you have never heard of the Asylum, i.e. the worst production company ever conceived. They make all their money by creating piece of crap movies with similar names and plots to blockbuster movies that are released at the same time.Look them up and you'll see all the movies that they have made, take a mental note to never see them, because they are either as bad as this movie, or...believe it or not...even worse...i know, you would think it not possible but it is.They've been sued multiple times and fined multiple times for copyright infringement and alike, but the Owners still maintain that it is pure coincidence that they have similar movies with "real" movies and that they put forth as much effort as any other production company.
