BA_Harrison Professional driver Frank (Jason Statham) is forced to transport Valentina (Natalya Rudakova), the kidnapped daughter of a Ukrainian minister, from Marseilles to Odessa; on the way, he tries to figure out how to remove the explosive bracelets that have been attached to their wrists, is challenged by gun-toting henchmen sent by the girl's father, and has some sexy time with his pretty passenger.Transporter 3 is even more far-fetched than the previous movie, with logic taking a back-seat for the entire journey, meaning that it's really, really, REALLY dumb (which explains why Nuts, Zoo and News of the World all gave it four stars); it also suffers from diabolical direction and editing, with wobbly camera-work and fast flickering cuts ruining all of the action scenes, the high-speed car chases and stunts utterly chaotic and the fights (which include yet another battle in a garage between Frank and countless thugs) nothing more than a boring rapid-fire blur of fists and feet.
adonis98-743-186503 Transporter 3 starts promising it has the action of the previous 2 and some pretty cool fight scenes especially that scene with that tall guy and a good villain but the movie starts falling apart when the ugly, skinny red head chick Valentina appears she is annoying to every scene and not the girl that Frank Martin deserves the first girl from the first movie was way better she wants to pee, she wants to drink and she wants to make love with Statham in order to give him back his keys. The series needed a far much better ending and a far much better sequel and girl for Frank maybe that is the real reason why Statham doesn't want to do another Sequel this is my least favorite in the series but it's not a bad movie i think Transporter 2 and The Transporter are still the best in the series!!!
robo8 Not that the others were grade A, but this is a really weak installment. This series isn't anything more than Statham in a compilation of cool scenes. The character was somewhat cool with his rules and principles, doing his trade. Here all that is out the window. They try to replace it with an national environmental theme, a deeper love story and... more conversation!? Add to that, despite Statham's best Jackie Chan efforts, extremely subpar action scenes. They are just a mish mash of glimpses, nothing more.Top it all off with giving the Movies second biggest part (the girl) to some hairdresser Luc Besson met on the street, allegedly. The sum of all this is a very boring transport across Europe.
david-sarkies Well, if there is one cool thing about this movie and that is the name of the director, though I feel that Megaton is probably not his real name but rather his stage name (though I did not think that directors had stage names, only actors). This is actually the better of the Transporter movies, though in many ways it still falls down in a lot of cases. One of the things that I wondered about this film was why they were using a diesel power train in the Ukraine when all of their trains are electrified, and then I realised that the reason for this was to enable Frank to drive the car off of the bridge and along the roof of the train (something you can't do when there are gantries in the way). In fact, the probably with using electric trains in action movies is that it makes it really difficult to have a fight scene on the roof (which is probably why most of America's railway system is not electrified). This one deals with the dumping of environmental waste, though as with most action movies, the theme behind the plot is irrelevant, you just watch the film to see Jason Stratham beat people up and to watch him drive his car and pull ridiculous stunts with it (such as using the tyres to inflate balloons and lift the car out of the water, or as I have just mentioned, driving it off a bridge and onto the roof of a train).Transporter Three is somewhat more entertaining than the last two, but that probably has something to do with the fact that this time around (I have now seen it three times, which is probably two times two many for these films – and for some reason purchased them on DVD as well) I watched it in three parts, so it ended up breaking up the monotony of this film. Now that I have watched these three films (again) and written commentaries on them, I can now think about getting rid of these films (hopefully Cash Converters will buy them).
