adonis98-743-186503 A detective pushed beyond his limits will stop at nothing for vengeance. When his wife is killed by a criminal that he put away, Mason, a hard-nosed detective, deliberately gets arrested in order to get revenge. While inside, Mason discovers a new criminal enterprise that those behind it would kill to protect. Vendetta showcases a very different and quite awesome side of Dean Cain but also Big Show made for a compelling and great villain. Lot's of suspense, action and cool and respectable characters make for a great prison action flick for sure. (A+)
chemor Wilhelm Scream. You know the one. It's been in movies since the days of black and white westerns. It's the same scream ol' Captain Wilhelm belted out when his leg was impaled by an Apache arrow. Sadly you have to wait almost 2 hours to hear it, but when you do you'll stop everything else to watch as a guy does a horizontal 720 from a barely landed weak hand punch. Pathetic.Seriously, worst scene in the movie; when a "hardened", veteran cop continues to fire his gun after the slide has locked in place, then looks at it like "oh, that's why it won't shoot.". Terrible. Just terrible.
CarlCarlson I've not seen any of the WWE Studios films, so I don't know how much of an impact WWE has have on the film and creative license, but, I'm sure there is some. The casting and acting was great. Dean Cain was really believable. Michael Eklund as Warden Snyder really irritated the hell out of me but that's how the warden was supposed to be portrayed, so job well done. Some of the dialogue was a little too proper but the fighting scenes were well choreographed. The soundtrack was almost non-stop and silence would have helped built up tension and or shock in some of the scenes. It wasn't a perfect flick which, IMO, would have been too boring and forgettable, maybe even cliché, but, gave it a modern day "grind house" feel to the picture. I would really like to see The Soska Twins do a b/w film noir piece.
Hassaan Khan To cut the long story short, I watched the movie by dividing it into 20 minutes episodes. It was unbearable after 15 to 20 minutes of continuous stupid acting. At least they should have chosen a better lead character "Hero of the Movie" to get 1 star more :P He was chubby, amateur in fighting, acting and was full of amusing loose ends. Lol The BIG show was way too strong for that poor chubby fellow and noway was capable of fighting stunts. And please do let me know that how on earth can we get all the power, stamina and strength by having a couple of push ups??? The Warden seemed to be the greatest "fail" on Earth who never gets to control neither the Big show nor the Hero...Please do not try this at home or in theater :D
