It was inevitable that someone was going to cross the so-called war on terrorism with zombies. As it turns out, they decided to mock homophobia in the process! "ZMD: Zombies of Mass Destruction" is the sort of movie that will only get viewed by people who have decided in advance that they're going to like it. The plot - amid a zombie apocalypse in a small town, an Iranian-American girl (who everyone thinks is Iraqi) gets assumed to be a terrorist, and a gay couple is about to come out to one of them's mom - sounds like something dreamed up by someone with too much time on his hands. But more than anything, I get the feeling that it's fun to play zombies. The movie is no "Shaun of the Dead", but makes no pretense about what it is. Janette Armand sure is a fox.

Yes it is a B-movie, and its an okay one at that! Nothing special in it if you are looking to be shocked and awed then sorry wrong place. This is a story about a xenophobic small island town under a biological attack or zombie virus outbreak attack by a militant terrorist group from the you know where. I am biased in the fact I find Janette Armand hot :P anyways good xenophobia fun on the whole you from I-Rak ooh I-Ran thing, and a few good gay puns too.Overall a very watchable movie, has the usual limitations of a B-Movie however its an okay watch. Not a must see, but if you come across it it cool. I'd say 5 outta 10. should be more though. @evilspellz

Islamic terrorists, homosexuals and zombies seem to be a strange combination for a supposed horror film. In her first role, Janette Armand plays Frida, an Iranian born in the small town of Port Gamble. She is taking a break from Princeton when the zombie outbreak occurs. Being that the film takes place right after 9/11, who do you think gets blamed? Especially, when the yahoos (Russell Hodgkinson) can't tell the difference between Iraq and Iran, neither of which was involved in 9/11, by the way.Meanwhile, Lance (Cooper Hopkins) is trying to get Tom (Doug Fahl) to come out to his mother (Linda Jensen). When he finally gets up the nerve to tell her, they have to kill her because she has been bitten. But, of course, they can't kill her because she is a zombie!Crazy preachers with reparative therapy, racism against Middle Easterners, gore, and blood expected in a zombie movie, and likable leads all make for an enjoyable time, even if it was cheaply made.

Well done, gory and funny as hell.I think the female lead started out in a skirt when her BF got killed wore jeans during part of her escape and then was back in the skirt when she got nailed.I need 10 lines so i'll say I enjoyed the anti Arab and anti gay humor, i think the female lead and the two actors who played the gay duo were excellent, so was the female lead who is also cute in an exotic way.The special effects were good for a low budget movie. I look forward to seeing the movie again.I guess brevity being the soul of whit doesn't apply to movie reviews with 10 lines min
