Personally, I've loved everything I've seen about this show simply because it's appealed to me as I developed. However, I understand those of you who are frustrated with the show replacing the beloved CN classics. I'm here to share my opinion, so feel free to disagree.I started watching this show on CN when I was 7. I was immature and tended to romanticize about a lot. Thus, I loved the childish humor, seemingly random plot-line and strange characters implemented into the show at its early seasons. The show grew with me for some time, next to TAWoG and Regular Show. As I matured through middle-school, the show did too, with characters starting to develop and reveal past backgrounds and whatnot. It was fun following all of the trivia. The show has simply been my forty minutes of joy every-time it aired new episodes. I wanted to write this review initially as a personal thank you to the show. However, after reading some other reviews, I've seen that many people are frustrated about the show's undeserving popularity compared to the older CN shows they grew up with. I can't but agree, it feels painful to see all my childhood shows replaced with shows like Teen Titans GO! and Uncle Grandpa. Remember, however, that these shows, despite having lower ratings overall, appeal to children of the next generation. Those who are 7 now will most likely grow up with Teen Titans GO! and perhaps even treasure it as they're older. So, in conclusion, I want to say that I love this show because I grew up with it, it is part of the childhood of children in my generation. For those of you who didn't like it, I can understand you're annoyance at continuously being bothered by the man-children of the show's fan-base. Just remember, every generation hates the next trend they can't understand, just like how I can't understand the joy in watching TTG and Uncle Grandpa, and just like how you millennials can't understand that joy the iGens get out of watching Adventure Time. The rating I gave this reflects my opinion, I love Adventure Time, but you don't have too, let us all keep the golden memories we each have of CN.
Peace.

Without a doubt, Cartoon Network has had good shows; Cartoon Network has had great shows. However, I feel that I couldn't call any of them (perhaps with the exception of Over the Garden Wall at times) a work of art. Yet Adventure Time, seems to be one of the most absurd, philosophical and intelligent shows on television. It's beautifully abstract with it's unique yet wonderful animation and new ideas. It's philosophical with its many rare morals and characters opinionated to their own ideas of a better world. This show has just captured pure genius in a bottle. Amazingly, the show isn't pretentious either. Instead of cramming their messages down your throat (which would be easier to do, considering how complex and difficult to present they can be) they let you experience the state of being around these characters, learning complex morals and philosophies. The only reason this isn't a ten is because there have been a few really bad episodes. And due to how risky this show is, that's bound to happen. I'd say about 95% of the huge risks Adventure Time takes are bulls-eyes. However, when the 5% of risks fail, it can result in a mess. However, these episodes happen extremely rarely. When Adventure Time gets it right, which is the vast majority of the time, it is some of the best stuff on television.Extra note: I feel Adventure Time is my favourite CN show of all time. On IMDb, I have ranked it second (only behind Over the Garden Wall) but I feel Adventure Time is just so unique and artistic, that it is a beautiful thing at it's best. Some shows might have had great storytelling, animation or plot twists, but I haven't seen anything on Cartoon Network that can compare to the artistic brilliance in Adventure Time.

Adventure Time is colourful, fun, wacky as sh##, hilarious and full of sexual subtexts. This is easily one of Cartoon Network's best works to come in recent years; and just like Steven Universe it has lots in store not just for kids but adults as well. The characters and story-lines are so far and wide yet perfect for such an outlandish world like Adventure Time's.As a fan of animation, Adventure Time obviously lacks some things other shows may have (such as animated nostrils on human[-like] characters), but I can forgive it for creating such memorable stories and characters that stick with you after you've watched just a single episode of the show, and that's what good television is supposed to do for the viewer: leave you wanting more and being absolutely-satisfied.

One thing ahead: This show is not very well suitable for children. They will not understand most of it's story and a lot of episodes contain 'creepy' scenes.I absolutely love this show, especially how it has developed since Season 3/4. The latest episodes have a very dark tone and develop more of an understanding how the Adventure Time universe has developed. Starting from 'The Vault', to Finn searching for his father and finally the episode 'Crossover'. Often this show gets compared to Regular Show but I don't think the target audience is really the same, a lot of other viewers will agree that if you love the humour and back-story of Adventure Time you do not like Regular Show and vice versa.I admit, this show is not for everyone, a lot of episodes are very random and not my really my taste but I don't watch the series for these episodes. If you are into weird, lovely and sometimes really sad and depressing shows, this is definitely a very good choice.
