I used to watch ultimate alien with my nephew it was entertaining to watch for my 12 year old nephew and I, I'm 22. Omniverse is weak, the lines are really corny. The witty jokes and stylish characteristics are absent, replaced with kitty humor. The animation style is different all the characters faces are oddly distorted, it looks like Cartoon Network wants the target audience to be 4 or 5 years old, but if your older than that its un- watchable, even for my nephew. I'm not the only one who thinks this because the show's ratings have steadily dropped. I also notice a strong similarity to Teen Titans and Teen Titans GO. The original Teen Titans had cool characters and an engaging story line and than Teen Titans GO came along and they completely changed the animation in to this wacky layout and the stories were all over the place and instead of humor it was mostly replaced with immature fart jokes and random screaming and corny one liners. Teen Titans lost A LOT of viewers because the show was so dumb. I'm assuming the creator of Teen Titans GO is also the creator of Omniverse.

it really isn't, you see the first four seasons of Ben ten had Ben Gwen and grandpa max, the two seasons of alien force and two seasons of ultimate alien had Kevin Gwen and Ben, and 8 seasons of omniverse has rook and Ben, the show changes, and those of you who say the animation is bad because it is different, i agree, it differs from the first second and third show, but the second show had changes from the original, but other than the terrible animation the show is not that bad, rook is both a mix of Kevin and Gwen, and is a compatible fighter with Bens recklessness, Gwen and Kevin are still in many episodes too, each story ark has compelling villains, like khyber maleware and maltruant, and story lines the show are not afraid to make major changes, like alien force and ultimate alien, and even the original show, it adds cool aliens (bloxx was added in ultimate alien by the way), Ben ten omniverse might not be as good as the original but it is definitely better than alien force and ultimate alien (i'm not even going to talk about how much i hate ultimate alien), it adds villains that are good (it adds villains, ahem ultimate alien), it has a new omnitrix that does not have a new twist or change that trys to make the story more compelling, but the show does have a lot of awesome battles and tons of new aliens, that have unforeseen powers that sometimes are completely awesome, you also get to see much more into alien crime and into the plumber world, and some of you old favorite characters will have some very memorable appearances and, if those characters don't come into the show soon they will eventually, you get to see into the future allot more, and has alternate dimensions, and everyone that was a fan of the first show you will love the later seasons of omniverse, i just really hope the haters wont get it cancelled (which reminds me when the animation was changed they explained it by the celestial-sapiens, alien x altered the universe multiple times hence the different animations), if you a fan of the fist show Gwen Animo max Vilgax eon forever knights Kai all of Bens aliens are in it if your a fan of alien force the high breeds make cameos and Kevin comes in, if you a fan of the third Albedo and the ultimatrix of aliens not in ultimate alien and a big whole lot more, also the show is really really awesome, if you stopped watching in the first couple episodes (i did) because of the animation, or that Kevin and Gwen weren't there you should try to stick it through and just watch as much as you can ( around story ark four it starts to get really good), and if you are listening to the bad reviews just at least try to watch the show.

I'm so fed up with all the negative reviews I've seen Omniverse getting that I just had to write my own for it. For me, Ben 10: Omniverse saved what Ultimate Alien destroyed. I found the story to be lacking and actually dropped the show during that season because it just didn't hold any interest. I also have to admit that since the new art style of Omniverse didn't appeal to my eye, I completely ignored it for the first two seasons. However, I lately found myself missing the feeling of Ben 10 and tried to re-watch it through starting with the first season but sadly, not many of those episodes could hold a second watch and still be interesting; amidst my watching of the original series, I stumbled upon some later episode of Omniverse and fell in love in those 20 minutes. The light feeling and the chemistry between the new duo was much better than I'd assumed and even though the art and animation were still sore to my eyes, I got past them because the experience itself was pleasant. I admit that the art and animation of the earlier seasons is much more to my taste and even though I hate the new look they gave Gwen, I think this show is exactly what the franchise needed. I agree that it might have had the feeling of milking it away during Ultimate Alien, which to me had no point what so ever but now I feel like I'm back to getting the same feeling as I did when I first started watching the show Ben 10.Although the flashback stories and the 11-year-old Ben in this series could be better written and more loyal to the original series and are probably the worst part of it, I would give it a change. They keep putting more and more focus on the present time and keeping the flashbacks as a minimum "refreshments". You will always see a lot of people putting it down, but to me it has been the only series of the franchise that's been able to last interesting past the first watch. I actually watched the both seasons twice in three weeks just because of how pleasantly surprised I was by them. And now the new color palette of the third season promises something new and I am eagerly waiting what's to come. So, despite all the negative reviews you might hear about it, I would give Omniverse chance anyway - as it seems to be one of those sequel shows that divide people harshly in those who love it and those who hate it and you might just as well be part of us belonging to the former.
