Reviews

The Humanity This is the type of dark demonic mystery/horror series that I had always hoped series like Spawn (cartoon) would be like. Just a glance of the direction this show could take has me craving more and hoping that they begin to give Constantine the amount of time he deserves. Justice League Dark was a good start, but the short episodes of this series is almost teasing fans with the sheer amount of awe this show could deliver. I love the new take on Newcastle. It actually seems genuine now and gives a glimpse of the horror for why Constantine is always tongue-tied over the events. They need to stop wasting Constantine's time on duds like Legends of Tomorrow and put all their energy into this to make these episodes longer than 5-7 minutes in length. If they do this, they will, at the very least, instantly have a huge cult following of the series, and they could have even more if they do the character and his story justice, which it appears they are completely capable of. The short episodes are frustrating, because they constantly break your connection to the story, so I highly recommend that you find a video where all the released episodes are in order back to back in a 35 minute video or an hour and 10 if the whole season is released. Looking past this clear annoyance, I give the series 9.3/10 bumped up to 10/10 because I highly enjoy Constantine and Matt Ryan's portrayal. For the love of God, make this into a 40 minute ep series.
Baldyed65 Love Constantine in all it's forms, but please animators pay a visit to London/The UK. Pubs ain't like that and smoking was banned years ago inside.Need an R-Rated live version soon.
sandowl It's great. The animation and story line so far are really interesting. Colours are vibrant.Only problem is the episodes are ridiculously short. Just start relaxing into it and it's gone. Really poorly thought out that aspect I think. After feeling good about what I was watching, it soon turned to great annoyance at having to keep starting new episodes every 5 minutes or so, which obviously detracts from the experience as a whole. If episodes 1-5 were made 1 episode, at least the run time would be more reasonable. As someone else has mentioned, each episode just abruptly stops without any clear definition, other than the credit title screen.
bmckeigh This was great but a little disappointing. Each "episode" is barely six minutes long and it ends without any kind of resolution or a cliffhanger. It just stops, abruptly right as the plot is starting to unfold. As a huge Constantine fan I feel it was a little half assed. Maybe they will make more and pick this back up. As for the animation and voice acting and judging the mere content, it's great. Still worth a watch even though it can be done in one sitting.
