shahrzadpendari Dig deeper into the world of El Chapo, one of the most notorious king pins of all time, and learn and see how cartels work. the Narcos had a different theme from this one, it had a very much more colorful plot and story, way much better dialogue and splendid actors. this one, on the other hand is somewhat mediocre plot-wise and actor-wise, but the way that the corruption in government is shown is amazing, and also its really great that there is no DEA agent searching for him or some American narrative thrown in the story. good to watch
edmundday A lot of similarity with Narcos but without the tiresome FBI agents, this series is fantastic. Really gripping, can't wait for series three.
georgescucris Like everyone else I thought this will be a second Narcos but it doesn't come anywhere near it. The storyline is simple and shallow. Doesn't go further than "we kill this guy, and now we bribe this guy, now this guy is pissed off so he is killing the competition, now we buy drugs and ship them over the border, now I'm in prison so I make new friends and bribe the guards". I honestly do not understand why there are so many high rankings... Every dialog sticks to facts, there is no real story behind it. I can't blame the actors, for what it is they did there best... I tried the first season to give it a chance, season 2 I tried the first episode and then I quit watching. Not worth your time.
marco_afm Viewers need to understand that the things they are watching are mostly real. The ''Emes'' are the Zetas. The Bernal Leyda brothers are the Beltrán Leyva. The Amendaños are the Arellano Félix. And so on. Even Conrado Sol seems to be Genaro García Luna. The murder of a cardinal in Guadalajara was real. The massacres by the Zetas on innocent people are real. The whole war under president Calderón is real. Basically, every major character and event. Bear that in mind all the time.Paz para México.
