GypsyKing878 I was skeptical about watching this at first because I thought it might be slightly biased due to Leah's past altercations with the '' Church '' of Scientology but boy was I wrong. The documentary is very objective and straight forward. It features countless interviews from former members of the cult and sheds some light into the cult's shady activities. A real eye opener for those who still don't feel convinced that Scientology is a total scam and a lie.
Dejan Dozic I was OK with the first season until the same mantra and stories about the cult was "brought to our attention" the second season. All this have been done by SVT and the BBC already. Some are even old news.It sometimes felt like they even enjoyed talking about it. Not interested to listen to a broken record. I am not even interested to spoil my time watching this complete waste of time.
mariehaley This show is making history. I await the day when the FBI watches it and wakes up and stops this CULT from committing crimes. Excellent show. Very informative and educational. They are doing a wonderful thing by exposing this awful cult. It is done very professional and you find you can't wait for the next episode. I give this a 10 out of 10.
zacounts The interviews are an astounding revelation about the depth of the cult of Scientology and recent changes to it's leadership and the celebrities who belong, especially Tom Cruise who participates and promotes this monster of an organization. I wish there was more information on how the cult recruits new members through 'self improvement' courses. Taking even the 1st basic course is very dangerous for people who are not very self aware and strong willed as even at the beginning cult members start breaking down the will of independence of recruits, people just off of the street, etc., often with people crying in public, yelling and humiliation during study sessions, and a hook of not letting people complete the initial course unless they have signed up for the 2nd course in advance and so on it goes with recruits paying out cash to the cult. When the Scientology cult members running the programs take a communal dinner break on site, recruits have time to discover the anti LGBTQ books written by cult members that are for sale from the cult library. You meet people who came for summer vacation to see the USA and ended up spending all of their money on Scientology courses because they were not strong enough to stand up to the brainwashing tactics of the Scientology cult. It's long past time that this criminal cult be investigated by Federal and State authorities and it's tax exempt status be revoked. It's time to get Congress and the Senate involved investigating this cancer on American society and note that this cult is outlawed in some countries. That this action is needed is made clear from this excellent program headed by Leah Remini and the brave people she interviews who have survived and escaped Scientology often emotionally and financially damaged and often estranged from friends and family remaining in the cult. Leah being a former cult member who was deep into the organization allows people the time to share their stories as a warning against Scientology.
