Isee-stupid-people Science done by 5 year old for people who zero knowledge of anything scientific.poor writing, poor character development, poor resolution, horrible camera angles, oxy moronic at times. Annoying characters and actors....ZERO POINT ZERO
TonyCamonte84 I started watching 'ReGenesis' with moderate expectations. I had heard good things about the show, but then again that doesn't mean much. And unfortunately 'ReGenesis' didn't live up to my moderate expectations. While it starts out looking like having an overarching plot, which it does to a point, from the 3rd episode on the serialized aspect becomes less important, and as the show becomes more episodic, sadly cases-of- the-week take over most of the screen-time. The show becomes formulaic, but at least the weekly story lines aren't all that bad.So, the story itself is decent enough, but the storytelling is not. From the first minute in there's an awful overuse and abuse of music, horribly annoying effects, unnecessary flashbacks and mind-numbing montages. The dialogue is quite dumb, as the show tells you everything instead of being able to show it. Its usage of split-screen is completely uninspired and purposeless, the attempts at humour fall completely flat, and some wooden actors (especially Maxim Roy) don't exactly help much either. It's not a bad show per se, it's just completely by the numbers and not always connecting them well, either. There's dozens of shows like it out there; ReGenesis doesn't manage to stand out among them.
Steven Duffy Now 3 Seasons in, and a 4th coming very soon, Regenesis has to be the best Sci-Fi shows ever to be on TV. With its intense gripping story lines, with every new episode and season, you are hurled onto the edge of your seat by wonderful stories, biology and science, action and thrilling scenes which boggles which makes you think about how susceptible we are to bacteria. Witch all these gripping factors, they mix together to make a powerful show. In each Episode and Season the characters come alive while fighting to save humanity against ourselves... Have we gone too far? A question asked, decide for yourself the answer, the world of the Regenesis is pretty close to our own
theemaster I don't usually post comments on stuff I like, I cannot possibly name a list of favorite sci-fi or favorite sci-fi shows but I can name some contenders and this one is on that list so far..Since I'm a bit of a amateur scientist.. I can understand a lot of the concepts this show talks about because I do enough scientific reading to understand. (basically speaking this deals with a lot of modern scientific issues)And I have to say that the first two hour episode of series 1 is just amazing.. I would highly recommend to people interested in a science related fiction story.. with a plot! (and this is science.. it's a science drama really) I can't say however watching season 2 at the moment that I'm as awe inspired as season 1.. but we'll see..
