adonis98-743-186503 After being offline for five years, RoboCop is reactivated in 2030 to help a federal agency called Alpha Division fight a high tech terrorist organization known as DARC, short for Directorate for Anarchy, Revenge, and Chaos. RoboCop: Alpha Commando is the 2nd animated TV show for Robocop and the most strange of the 2 since Robocop has turned into Inspector Gadget and does a lot of things with his arms and legs he can also transform sometimes but what most people got is that first this is a kids show and 2nd of all it takes place on 2020 which means that crime has changed so has Robocop, didn't Robocop, Spider-man and even Zorro had TV shows that were based on the future? Didn't also Batman started as a campy 60's TV show and then wen't all dark and moody? That's my point exactly people expected Robocop blowing people up and their arms and legs lay on the floor a whole bloody mess but this is a show for kids sure it has some campy humor or even jokes like Murphy saying "Who's the babe?" but there's also good references like "We're human after all" which is straight up from Robocop 2. Which brings me to the finale which is this if you can judge the whole show and not just the cover Alpha Commando is a fun 90's kids show and way better than both RoboCop 2 and RoboCop 3 because it knows what it is and with time you will learn to appreciate it i know i did. (10/10)
cyberdynesystems101 This cartoon is bad. I'm a RoboCop fan, and this series does not follow the movie very well. Robocop does not act the way he's suppose to, and the animation, while pretty well done, is not the case for Robocop.Robocop's animation style overly simplified, and he buff look to him, which looks really strange. The voice actor providing his the voice of robo does not suit him at all. Robocop also has hundreds of gadgets in him, which he can use to get out practically any situation. There are also a number continuity mistakes in the plot.SPOILER ALERT!!! The series supposedly takes place about, 20 years or so after the events of the first Robocop. But, during the series we see Robocop's son, who should be around 30 now, but is the same age as Robo's sees him in his memory flash backs, which is around 10.SPOILER END!!! Voice Acting: Again, as stated for Robocop, the actor providing the voice exaggerates him. Although the dialog Robocop is given doesn't much in this case. Robocop once even said "Who's the babe?" Notably, some of the other acting was well done. Blu Mankuma who played Sergeant Stanley Parks in the Robocop Live Action TV Series, provides the voice of Sargent Reeds in this series. The acting overall is OK in some points, but not great. The way the show is presented is the major problem. The characters are played too lightly, and Robocop seems to be more of a comedy character with cheaps liners than an actual, serious cop.Overall, if you do watch this show, I suggest you don't take it too heavily as RoboCop. Watch it as if you're watching another show, and you should be able to enjoy it. But for major RoboCop fans, I'd say avoid it. It's really really off in many aspects, and does not do justice to RoboCop.
Ginger87 I remember waking up early every weekday morning during the summer to watch "Robocop: Alpha Commando". It was a really cool show and Robocop was cool with a lot of cool gadgets. The theme song was awesome. I also liked the villains he was against. My favorite episodes of this show were: "A Pretty Girl Is Like a Malady", "Oh Tannenbaum Whoa Tannenbaum", "Return of the Hermanator", "While You Were Sleeping", and "Talk About the Weather". These episodes were all really cool and I even have some of them on video.Overall this was a really good show and I wish it was still on T.V. I give "Robocop: Alpha Commando" 8/10 stars.
inspectordark This cartoon was the worst thing to come out of m.g.m.After they bought Orion pictures. He look so cheap in this cartoon. And they made him more like Inspector Gadget than from the movies .I am glad that this cartoon is gone. The 80's cartoon was much better than this misguided cartoon.
