RWBY is absolutely amazing and we should all be happy that Monty Oum left us with such an inspiring masterpiece and it is the perfect mixture of anime and western animations. I have been a fan of it for about a year now and it is now one of my favourite shows, it has amazing fight scenes, great and realistic dialogue, amazing music (thanks Jeff Williams), and shows tremendous character growth and development. I don't want to get into details due to the endangerment of spoilers but give it a chance, watch a few episodes then start to form your opinion, let it take you on the adventure and you will be thankful, trust me. Overall I give it a 9.7/10.

Where to start with this show? It's just amazing, the story and characters are very in-depth and likable, and it's an amazing original idea done right. The animation is unique, it reminded me of an old anime-esque game. Admittedly, though, the animation wasn't perfect, not terrible by any means, but I would LOVE to see it made into a 2d style anime. Still, you gotta hand it to the creator for being...well, creative. Also, the voice acting was really good, sometimes better than even the good English dubs in anime, and I particularly liked Lindsay Jones as Ruby, Monty (and Neath) Oum as Lie Ren, Miles Luna as Jaune, and Arryn Zech as Blake, you could just tell how they loved their roles and did their best. Not to mention that the dialogue was also really good, and helped the voice actors perfect their roles. And by second season, everything in it got so much better than it already was, the animation got more detailed and the voice acting was bordering on absolute perfection for all characters. It's just an already amazing show that keeps improving in just about every way.All in all, an absolutely amazing show, and praise to Monty Oum, may he rest in peace, and may Neath carry on his legacy.

If anyone else had made this garbage they would be out of business. But hey someone famous made it on the internet so everyone just bends over and let's it be. Awful animation with awful voice acting/actors. It's just down right terrible. But hey idiots keep blindly supporting this crap and they will keep getting crap. Don't waste your time with this bs, do yourself a favor and watch something that is even half decent.

Appears to starts as a semi-professional comedy series, and hides it's true colours throughout the first two volumes, where the more serious tones and emotional moments are few and far between, but in volume three and beyond it really shines, with mature storytelling, and a much darker tone. The characters and location are fairly unique, with characters especially receiving development, becoming both three-dimensional personalities, and all are either likable, or 'love-to-hate.'The animation is only good where it needs to be at first, getting better into volume two, and hitting a high standard for volume three. Likewise, the voice acting improves considerably as it progresses. The soundtrack is amazing throughout, and is worth a listen by itself.
