soulja_luva_69 I just wanted to say I don't think it's okay for them to use the word's "Cracker" and "Honkey". I find that it is very offensive. How come every one goes ape $hi* over the "N" word and gets offended and expect white people to be okay with them calling us cracker, honky, white trash etc. I don't see how anyone can watch this show. Other than it being racist, it is not at all interesting. Wish I could report this to a group for white people who feel offended by this type of stuff. But of course that will never happen because it would be "Racist" and unfair. -_- So thank you for your time, and I hope your show goes down the drain with a turd on top.
kings_fanluvz I love this show so much I did a persuasive PowerPoint speech on it. It makes you think, gives great insight into how people differ and both sides of an issue. The language may be offensive to some but if you delve into the message regardless of the messenger you have to be assured its a treat! Looking forward to many more seasons, been down since the strip was in the San Francisco chronicle. The whole point of the show is to make people THINK, be HONEST with reality, and INSPIRE change. Boondocks is one of the few shows worth watching on TV that has a valid point, there isn't propaganda. How many African American shows are there that really deal with the controversial topics and don't insert filters? Don't worry I'll wait.
funky-dee This cartoon is good! This is for people who can stand humor, not one of those who cry after some stereotypes on Transformers 2 and saying, that a black robot dies first in the firs one.Racist jokes are funny, but in reality racism is not funny.Kinda like making fun of drug addiction, but it really isn't.So racist jokes are not the only things, that are made funny and in real life terrible.Well anyways lets get to the cartoon.Tells about Riley and Huey Freeman who move to live with their grandfather. It was a nice idea to pick John Witherspoon as the voice actor of Robet Freeman (or just call the character Granddad). Also the cast of other voice actors is good too.Its full of jokes from many sitcoms or comedy shows like Chappelle's Show.Huey is the smart one while Riley is the one who gets wild about everything that's 'cool'.
d-beegan I've watched this a few times. And honestly, I don't' understand it. From my point of view, this show just screams racism. The "N" word is used so many times. Now maybe my opinion is that of a suburban white guy that has never, and will never understand what some black American's have had to go through. But really, all I see is a show that says that urban black's can not fit into white suburbia. It says that all black men are thugs, gangstas, and god only knows what else. Now, on the plus side. I do like the animation. It's very much a anime style. Clean, and smooth. A great deal of detail in every frame. But for the story lines...sorry...but I think I'm being very nice by giving it a 1.
