Reviews

SnoopyStyle Jack Mlicki (Jack McBrayer) was the star of a TV show called Triumph's Boy. It lasted 11 seasons. The former child star and Triumph (Robert Smigel) party hard. Jack loses all his money which was squandered by his parents. He gets whored out by Triumph. With nowhere to go, they go and live with TV-mother June Gregory (June Squibb). She abandons Triumph in the woods but he works his way back to Jack. It's weird. It's outlandish. It's silly. It's stupid. McBrayer and Triumph sometimes do bits on the streets for Conan. June Squibb has a sassy sense of humor. This could work but it mostly doesn't. The main section is a spoof of a network TV show with the artificial set and a live audience. It is not that funny despite some outrageous humor. The laugh track is loud. It's either part of the spoof or a bad part of the sitcom. The best parts remain the unscripted bits that McBrayer and Triumph do with unsuspecting people. This is a weird experiment. I admire the attempt but it's not always good.
rajuxavier I've been a big fan of triumph, been watching his videos ever since a friend told me about him from YouTube. I like his comedy although they were insulting. I always like triumph, his jokes are hilarious and very funny. I don't know how he comes up with that jokes. But they crack more than expected. I love triumph, looking for more episodes and more fun. Please add more characters so that show will look more delightful. I recommend to this everyone who likes comedy who has no preference on some genre. For all the haters it is fictional, so whether you like it or not triumph is the best. The Fourth and Fifth Episodes are most enjoyable to me. I feel a bit sad because this is not a daily show. I wish they air everyday in upcoming days. Thank you triumph, thank you for your jokes and making me laugh.
atlasmb If you are familiar with Triumph and his style of humor, then this show will be no surprise. It is filled with irreverent humor aimed at his costars, other actors, and even the studio audience.Expect anything in this no-holds-barred comedy. Breaking the fourth wall. Revealing the audience during a skit. Even including washed up has-beens like Paul Rudd and Michael Winslow (I keed, I keed!).The plot of the pilot establishes the premise of the show: A young man and his insulting dog live with an elderly lady who can dish it as well as she can take it. The second episode pokes fun at "hipsters" and anyone else who dares enter a scene with Triumph. You will like this show if you think Lawrence Olivier was one of the great screen talents...for me to poop on! Seriously, though, remember this is adult humor and should not be watched by those under age 18 or anyone who might have participated in community government in Alaska. I keed! Enjoy it...if you dare!
cousinpeso Not that anyone expected anything better, but this show is the same insensitive tripe that Adult Swim has been regurgitating all over Cartoon Network's late hours for years. I'm ridiculously disappointed that Jack McBrayer is part of this (I am a huge fan of his voice acting performances in Wreck-It Ralph and Wander Over Yonder) and I can only hope that this was a decision he made out of desperation or because his manager made him. Here's to praying that this show doesn't make it past the first painful season and we can all pretend that it never happened. PS, when is someone going to tell Adult Swim that their raunchy humor isn't funny?
