mfl-05706 Overall, I enjoyed Valor quite a bit. It flowed well and did produce genuine suspense throughout the short series, getting me to go back for more at every free moment I had. Having just recently become a military officer, I found a lot of parallels between the series and the lessons our instructors were instilling in us during our training (though Valor could be a bit heavy-handed with its military-isms at times). With that said, however, there were a number of ways in which I felt as though Valor did not accurately depict military life, culture and standards. These include:Fraternization between warrant officers and officersThe lack of crispness (for lack of a better word) with which Valor's actors performed their salutes and facing movementsCaptain Gallo's facial hair when not in theaterHow tight-fitting Madani's uniform was How frequently they deployed to Somalia rather than being there for an extended period of timeLack of muzzle discipline during Malani's training exerciseKandahar pronunciation in episode 11 by Captain Gallo
artrezyoung I love this show I pray they go at least 4-5 seasons
kimmieuher Loved it! It kept me on my toes and showed a good view of the special ops that you don't see in other tv shows.
sniff-19631 I really do not understand how this show can get such bad reviews. Maybe because I'm a non-american female than do not care about all the military details needing to be 100% correct (after all it's fiction, not a documentary). Sure it does not measure up to giants such as GoT, Westworld, Taboo etc. but it's really been one of my favorite shows this winter. If you want to enjoy good drama, well balanced action and a "ship" with some steamy chemistry while waiting for the "big" shows to return, I absolutely recommend Valor.
