stefanbengus The main characters are Cameron (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), Patrick (Heath Ledger), Bianca (Larisa Oleynik) and Kat (Julia Stiles). The movie is set in Seattle in 1999. Cameron is a nice guy without so many chances at girls. Patrick is also a nice guy, but everybody is afraid of him. Bianca is the popular girl, that every guy likes. Kat is Bianca's bigger sister, who is annoyed by everything. The movie is about Cameron who falls in love with Bianca and Patrick who falls in love with Kat. The movie is very good for romance movies lovers because it shows the pure love between the 4 teenagers. You should really watch the movie because it's very good.

ana-62944 IT was a typical love story in high school. It was interesting but a bit boring at the beginning but then the adventure begun. I recommend it for a rainy day with nothing to do better. It is hard to figure out that this story is a Shakespeare's play modernization. I Hope You will enjoy the movie.

His foil is Julia Stiles, as the shrew who doesn't give a fig what anyone thinks of her. Also stars: Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Larisa Oleynik, David Krumholtz, and Andrew Keegan.If you've never seen this you should take a look, it will take you back to the 90s in clothes and music! The soundtrack is also worth a listen.

(Where did the last 18 years go?!)As part of a school event when I was 12, the film we saw was this. I expected rubbish associated with the genre. How wrong I was. This was good.It was partially inspired by The Taming of the Shrew (even with some direct quotes) but updated for modernity.The beer party and prom scenes, in particular, were my highlights. To me, they said '1999 was a carefree time. In those days, 911 referred to an expensive sports car.'Overall, from the initial Touchstone (Disney for mature audiences) logo to the end of the credits, it's a good 'un. If you're into the genre, add this to your collection.There is some salty language and violence, though.Recommended for ages 11+.
