With the previous two "Bad Ass" movies watched, then of course this one had to be watched as well. The story in "Bad Asses on the Bayou" was adequately entertaining, but it just felt that they should have stopped making these movies after the first one, because parts two and three don't have the same level of energy as the first movie."Bad Asses on the Bayou" was troubled by an overly predictable storyline.Danny Glover is definitely getting too old for these kind of movies. Danny Trejo carried the movie quite well, and he did make the movie bearable to watch. If you enjoy action movies, then "Bad Asses on the Bayou" is hardly the first of choices to go to. It was an adequate movie for what it turned out to a; a mediocre action movie.

Hardly a surprise, this is an action comedy with a silly story, full of clichés and stereotypical characters. Given that, it can be a somewhat entertaining way of passing time. It doesn't aspire to do more and nothing more should be expected. There is really no surprises, it is too predictable and go too far in a few jokes so that they become less fun. 3/10

This isn't a typical action movie, it's much more of a comedy movie, so if you're looking for action - go elsewhere. The one liners that get tossed about are funny and yes the acting could use a bit more...but overall enjoyed the movie and definitely did a lot of laughing through it. Glover and Trego never fail to hit the punch line in this movie. I pulled it up on netflix for a 'look-see' if it would be any good or not, and once the show started, it had us watching and laughing throughout. I imagine some of the bad reviews are from people that wanted a serious action film and this one is no where close, it's actually a bit fake in one scene when there's a lot of shooting going on, but again it fits the comedy part of the show.

A bit predictable in places but well put together. Bernie Pope (Danny Glover) does well to stay on his feet during some of the action, considering the characters health problems. This film is exactly what you would expect, simple plot and easy to follow. Some of the effects are a bit rough around the edges. An interesting bunch of characters getting up to all sorts of fun. Definitely the best of the Bad Ass films so far.I think Craig Moss is improving in both writing and directing. Here is the mild SPOILER:- I particularly enjoyed watching them crash the aeroplane, a scene 'borrowed' from Air America (1990).
