isak orn ivarsson This is just one of those movies that should not be out there, although I've seen a lot worse than this but this like the movie "While she was out" that was a comedy masterpiece logic, acting and plot did not apply to that movie, so when you watch this movie you'll find the same problem. I have no idea how to describe this movie massacre but I'm going to try anyway so bare with me:It's about a school prom where a bus driver infects everyone by pissing into a bowl of alcohol, everyone gets infected, Some religious group tries to seal the school off and shooting all the students, the virus can infect by touch meaning you get somebodies else's blood onto you, your day isn't going to end well except if your in the main cast.I personally was hoping for some horror thriller but instead I got this Comedy masterpiece. Logic, acting and plot its just ridiculous.
FrancisLavoie Do not watch the last 15 minutes of this movie. You should stop watching it after 1h12 minutes, the rest is horrible. So, Cabin Fever 2. To start off I was not a fan of the first one. I thought it had horrible characters, horrible dialog, but the idea was there. You could see the passion and the love that Eli Roth had for it.On the other hand, Cabin Fever 2 was an incredible modern horror movie. It's not "The Exorcist", it's more an homage to the old fun 80's B- movies. It has everything you want if your a fan of 70's-80's exploitation films. It starts where the last one picked up. Basically the water is contaminated and every one in school drink's it. The prom turns wrong and the Federals come in and shoot every one. The dialog is way way way better than in the first one and I actually relate to the main character who has social issues and enjoys cannibal movies. The movie is also very funny. The actors are also very good. Lastly, Ti West is an incredible horror director, he had many troubles with this movie and despises it, but he his a great director.
Theo Robertson The original CABIN FEVER is a film that stuck out from the mainstream teenage horror film in that it had an air of gravatis to it . It also had a cruel sadistic edge . It's always difficult to give a new spin to horny teenagers in peril but both CABIN FEVER and the FINAL DESTINATION franchise managed . Setting the sequel to CABIN FEVER at a high school prom should have set a few alarm bells ringing . After seeing CABIN FEVER 2 SPRING FEVER this instinctive fear has been proved to be correct You want an audience to empathise with the characters you're going to kill off ? Fine but you've got to make the characters believable . Here the characters have the depth of a puddle if not a dried up river bed . To say the characters are mere cyphers is to elevate the film as an intense cinematic character study. The only character I can remember clearly is the fat girl in the swimming pool and that's only because I thought I'd flipped the channel and was watching a Greenpeace documentary about whale hunting Another spanner in the works is the failed humour . You think characters suffering from projectile vomiting at the most inopportune moments is funny ? You might enjoy a couple of sequences first time they make an appearance but they quickly outlive their welcome . Watching these failed comedy scenes is like being handcuffed to Jim Carrey in manic mode . This completely jars with the more serious subplots one of which - a government team trying to keep a lid on things - is totally underdeveloped It's difficult to think how this movie might appeal to anyone outside the hardcore teen horror crowd but even then they might be confused to its market after all the soundtrack is painfully anachronistic with Hi- NRG disco . The gore is genuinely graphic and stomach churning which is at odds with the badly written and inappropriate humour
poyrazbaklan Have you seen the first cabin fever? It was a nice little movie with a flesh eating bacteria as its main antagonist. Friends go to a cabin, get infected and die gruesomely one by one one. You can easily watch and forget about it in a matter of hours. And why they decided to make a sequel for it, I have no idea. This time it is a whole high school that gets infected on a prom night, and it has its share of vomit inducing moments, it is a movie about an infection that makes your innards to fall out after all. But everything is so cliché and predictable that you can already guess what will happen just by reading the "it now happens in a high school" line. Protagonists aren't likable, comedy relief isn't funny. After a while you realize you only watch it to see the gruesome death scenes, which, considering you have seen the first one, is why you are here after all.
