bbwoof2000 I saw that Eileen Davidson from 'The Young & The Restless' was starring in this movie & I got excited b/c Ashley Abbott is one of my favorite characters from the y/r. This movie put me to sleep several times before I could finish watching it. I will not be fooled again. Glad Eileen didn't make a sequel.
blackkatdemon When I was a kid I would sneak out of my room when everyone was asleep. Being as quiet as possible would turn on & watch Monstervision or Up All Night. This was one of those late night gems they showed on Up All Night. Those were the nights and shows I miss now of days. Svengoolie's show comes somewhat close as far as late night bad movies. I remember laughing at it, and enjoying it. Even some of the humour reminded me of Young Einstein. I sat there watching this and I liked it. I know a lot of people rip on me for enjoying movies that are kind of bad. One thing I enjoyed was the fact they showed bikers in a good way. Everything now is trying to be all Son's of Anarchy and bikers being tough. In this movie they were the good guys. The Born Losers do live up to there name when it comes to fighting WOW. When I seen this I didn't know who everyone was. I was a kid I liked the blond headed biker & thought he was cute. I didn't know that was the same guy from Puppet Master, and American Graffiti. We didn't have the internet so you would have to read the credits back then & remember names. I found this movie on Youtube. I was Googling movies parts and stuff that I remember seeing. I typed in the ending fight scene, rock of ages, and poof there was my answer Easy Wheels.I sat down and watched this movie on YouTube through my the Xbox recently. There was a lot I forgot and some that came back to me as I was watching. In the movie there are two gangs there's the Born Losers, and Women of the Wolf. This was the late 80's and early 90's so the fluffy hair was in fashion. The fights seem kinda corny, there was some humour them. I found myself laughing at the bar scene when the WOW bikers beat up Ted Raimi. Some of the lines are still bad, but I still I chuckled at a few of them. Another actor I recognized in the movie was Ben Stein as a preacher. I liked Mark Holton's character Animal. I busted out laughing when he starts sniffing the air and says "Cheap perfume, sweaty leather, women, sniffs 3 women in heat". Another line was when Professor tells the Reporter "Locate the evil, destroy the evil, and find a great tasting light beer". This is one of those funny movies you can not take to serious. The plot is evil do'ers kidnapping babies to sell and few of them to be raised by wolves. If you like funny, hero bikers, with laughs, and a good story. I would recommend watching movies like Bikers of Menace, or Running Cool. This movie lives up to the 80's biker movies. It's well worth a watch, maybe a laugh or two. Anyway still happy I finally found a re-watched it again.
pfeifferpack2003-1 Is it a biker flick? Is it about boys and girls gone bad and the consequences? Nope...it is a deadpan, play it for straight comedy that will have you rolling with the dialog is not the basic premise. SPOILER:The whole concept of the biker girls stealing babies to have the females raised by wolves while the boys (useless) are sold on the black market and the male bikers quest for a truly good light beer should tip one off that they have entered a surreal world the Raimi brothers alone could create. The jail scene with the male bikers would be worth the price of admission alone to hear them try to pass themselves off as a traveling gospel group and then breaking out in a dynamite version of Rock of Ages! The girls are hot, the story a hoot. This is a classic for this type of film. What makes it even funnier is that all the performers go at it as if doing Shakespeare....dead serious! If you watched My Three Sons as a kid you might recognize Barry Livingston (Ernie the adopted son of the later years) as an reporter traveling with the male bikers.Pop the corn and settle back for a fun ride.
merrick-3 The reviews decrying this film seem to have genuinely missed the fact that it's a comedy. Sure, all of it is deadpan but really, a biker gang who do a great doo-wop Rock Of Ages? A guy whose mudwrestler girlfriend gets into laundromat machines after work? It's a comedy, folks. The reviewers complaining of the lack of action scenes or soft porn might as well level the same criticisms at Airplane. Indeed, Airplane's a good point of reference with the straight-faced humour, visual gags and touches of surrealism. It plays on many 'good guys seeking out the evil-doers' clichés, and simultaneously on fated-lovers clichés too. The funniest stuff is in the way it plays with gender role and 'wrong side of the tracks' stereotypes. The great and eminently quotable cheesy dialogue and the constant overloud leather-creak whenever anyone moves keep it relentlessly funny from start to finish. If you like the comic edge of Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell's work in The Evil Dead you'll love this film. If, however, you thought Evil Dead was a straight zombie flick then you'll probably miss the point with this too.
