alessacarri Everything about this movie is ridiculous, cheesy, fake, exaggerated and cringeworthy. It is really shameful that people gave money for this movie to be make. And the scenes that portray Yucatán... ugh I can't even as a native...
jonahjaimes Film with a rating 5.8 on IMDb but I really must admit that I really really liked the performances and the story, unfortunately, i miss you more complexity to the characters, were simple and predictable, even so it is an amazing film full of emotions, is discover how love comes to turn things again as it has always done, perhaps as much used phrase "Love returns do" maybe it was much copied to other films that left to be desired. All film entertains you never bores you, have a sense of humor and atmosphere of empathy in the characters. It was an excellent excuse to use Mexican territory of Quintana Roo for a great love story, it is worth noting that it is the first indent made for film Martha Higareda, not bad for a Mexican actress who has flirted with Hollywood and wants exceeded itself . For me I give it a 7 to this film. I really like movies with many emotions and not get bored.
GomezAddams666 Martha Higareda plays Ana Paula, a girl whose dream is to get married and have the perfect wedding until her not-so-perfect fiancée cheated on her with her cousin. Miriam Higareda plays Daniela, a care-free girl that has been in love of her best friend all her life but she has never had the courage to tell him so. Ana Paula gets drunk and by accident she finds herself in the middle of the jungle, where she meets Erik, a young volunteer who shows her a different way of seeing life, and Daniela ends up staying a few days with her best friend's family for his dad's birthday, and she is decided to let him know how she feels about him.The movie can be described as the typical romantic comedy, but what makes it different and better is that the characters are realistic, and well performed, you can identify and root for these girls as they find the courage to get out of their comfort zones and be brave and roll the dice.Mexican Cinema more often than not does not get its due, but there are great talents that can put a very enjoyable romantic comedy, that is very entertaining and very funny.
lidieth007 I've been watching a couple Mexican movies lately and I happen to stumble upon the trailer of Cásese Quien Pueda on youtube and became interested in watching it even though the trailer gave away some of the cheesy acting in the film but I decided to give it a try since I recognized some of the actors in the film and seemed like it would be entertaining. However, it was very disappointing, I have to agree with the other two reviews here. I was very hard to watch because there was a lot of bad acting and overreacting, specially from the main character Ana (Martha Higareda) but all characters overall were cheesy and unbelievable. The only character that was believable in the entire film probably was Erik as portrayed by the Argentinean actor Michel Brown. The overall script needed a lot of improvement, it rather seemed like they started with a good idea but couldn't craft the script quite yet, it lacks unity but more importantly versatility. There are some very unbelievable moments that are incoherent and seem like the filmmakers threw them in there because they didn't know how to continue the film, or they didn't have a better way to put it in context. However, like I said, it still managed to entertain me a little bit and made me smile from time to time, but the overall quality of the storytelling is quite disappointing. But the number one thing that really hurts it is the bad acting and the bad script. But if you can get over the fact of the exaggerated/theater-like acting then you should find it at least somewhat entertaining. These actors need to understand that acting for film is not the same as acting for telenovelas.
