This movie was a good movie for being a skateboard movie. its about a four kids following their skateboard hero across the country to try and get him to sponsor them on his tour. along the way they run into some problems and some girls. there are also appearances by people from the movie Jackass such as, Bam Margera, Preston Lacy, Wee-man, and "Danger" Erin, also an appearance by Tom Green. The movies soundtrack is what really stuck with me because I didn't see this movie when it came out I saw it a couple years later but over all this movie is was a good movie. it made me laugh and was a make you feel good movie and was really enjoyable to watch.

I have to admit, I didn't even finish watching this movie it was so Shitty. I guess it was supposed to be an attempt at comedy? A prostate exam would be more pleasant than being forced to watch this. I did give it one star for all the honeys. Without a doubt the best part if the movie. I am a little surprised at how many positive reviews users gave this movie. All I can imagine is they are probably written by some kiddies. The humor is really that weak. I am trying to think of something that was supposed to be a joke in the movie, but I have already forgotten any of the "jokes" and I just watched this movie less than ten minutes ago.

I give this movie a 10/10 because it really was well funded, and honestly had great acting. It featured tons of awesome skating scenes and most of the big names in skateboarding. So it definitely appeals to the aspiring skateboarders and other such athletes. However, the appeal is so much greater than that for my friends and I. It is at its a core about friends getting together, and having a ton of fun, while chasing a seemingly impossible dream. Its about how friends unite when the chips are down and nothing seems to go right. It reminds us that those closest to us are there to pull us through the rough times and keep us focused on our goals. And it tells us that if you have a dream, chase it, no matter what gets in your way or who tells you that you cant make it. So it really appeals to everyone who has ever had a dream and wanted to be something even though the odds seemed against them. Not to mention that the four main characters comprise of the archetypes of everyone's group of friends (i.e. the level headed one, the goofy one, the nerdy one, and the smooth one) Personally, back in high school, this was a movie watched and quoted constantly by my friends and I, and each of us dawned the different names of the characters whom we were like. So there is a superb nostalgia for me whenever I watch this movie, and like the previous commenter, it really doesn't ever get old. And as we all know, in those seemingly dull, uninspired times post-high school, this movie reminds us to do what we believe in, no matter what, and remember our friends along the way.

Well, once again, the great art of skateboarding has been beaten with a brick by trendy teen movie creators. I mean, if you're really that amped to focus a movie plot around skateboarding, it least do some research to find out what's actually possible on a skateboard and what's not. You've got angles revealing the fact the stunt doubles can't even do half the "Mcvarial 900s" in the film. As a skateboarder and filmer of skateboarding, this movie is complete mainstream trash. If you want to see the true cinematic greatness of skateboarding, go out to your local skate shop and buy one of Jon Holland's many Transworld Skateboarding films. Roll forever.
