honeybains007 Movie is so predictable. Maybee its due to moderate editing. Overall concept & script was awesome. Dialogues are good too. Far better then most of Bollywood Movies .All movie is just rolling around 4 or 5 persons most of the time. As usual romance in Bollywood always so bad. , they are just looking at each other all the movie till the end,and background music make it worst.
Hari Kansal Wazir is a film with stereotypical cinematography/direction (especially the love scenes), a horribly failed attempt at playing a mad character by Neil Nitin Mukesh, and just barely believable performances by the usually talented Amitabh Bachchan and Farhan Akhtar. The music, although carrying the weight of the talented musicians behind it, doesn't adequately carry the heavy emotions of the film itself. Despite all these flaws, the twist at the end makes it just a little better than time-pass, so, watch it if you have time to pass.
Tanmay Gupta So this is another charged performance from veteran Bachchan Sir and an equally challenging role portrayed with simplicity by Farhan. The story and narration is quite different from traditional bollywood movies and it dares the other filmmakers in the Bollywood to rethink their understanding of good movies. The movie has very strong characters, twisted plot line and huge expectations as Vidhu Vinod and Amitabh Sir share the credentials. However I think that director was not able to maintain the story with all the weight it got. The ending of movie became very predictable halfway through the story making it just a formality to watch the complete movie. The reference to chess strategies makes the ending more predictable if one has sound knowledge of chess. Although Sir and Farhan gave the characters the portrayal they deserved, the movie became easy to predict by regular strategic moves. I must say, if you love chess then you should target to have all the chess sets shown in movie. They are one of the very few things I liked in this movie.
Amartya Sisodia 'Wazir' showcases a beautiful analogy between the life of a chess player and the game of chess.A wheelchair-bound chess grandmaster(Amitabh Bachchan) befriends a traumatized ATS officer Daanish (Farhan Akhtar), who recently lost his daughter. The grandmaster/Panditji is himself grieving the loss of his daughter who died in a mysterious accident. Panditji accuses the Welfare Minister of murdering her, and with his new friend fights for justice. As Daanish gets intensely involved in the case, Wazir enters the game, apparently sent by Welfare Minister to eliminate Panditji. Now, Daanish must protect Panditji from the mysterious Wazir. The plot consistently focuses on the battle of the weak pawn, Panditji, with the mighty king, the Welfare Minister. The weak pawn seeks the help of his friend the rook, Daanish, to defeat the king. The story takes twists and turns as the battle for justice transforms into the hunt of Wazir. The story's secondary focus is on Daanish's life which is falling apart after the death of his child and the subsequent separation from his wife. A story told with chess as the reference frame, chemistry between the characters of Bachchan and Farhan, and the emotional state of a grieving father are the highlights of this movie. The film is not very long considering the intricateness of the plot and some events in it could have been extended. Mr. Bachchan and Farhan deserve a special mention for their impressive performances.Watch this movie for its climax.
