Dennis Torhov 9/10 for seasons 1 and 2, at least they had a story line and more/less same set of characters. Season 3 and onward - like completely different series with different scenario, actors, atmosphere. WHO ARE ALL THOSE PEOPLE?????? WHERE THEY CAME FROM????Don't bother beyond season 2 and you'll be OK.-10 out of 10 for season 3 extended or season 4 (WTF again?)cant write any more lines of text not worth it sorry i mean really if someone can write more about this magnificent series - good luck to them but im all outta words but just wanted to warn others no to ruin their spare time watching this nonsense

fullheadofsteam In this series, the criminals are bad, the cops are bad, and amorality is what rules both the days (gray and shadowy) and the nights. Filthy language without any real underlying utility or character dimension of, let's say, a series like "Deadwood", and sex scenes that are pornographic. The acting is sluggish and relentlessly gloomy, and so with the bleak cinematography, the absence of any primarily morally grounded characters, endless cursing, and sex scenes that are too gratuitous for words, one feels filthy just for watching more than one episode. Thandie Newton is monotonous, whiny, and ultimately too depressing to listen to in her role, and the lead bad guy is also monotonous to listen to, but worse, he cannot do an American accent while trying to hide his native accent, and the other actors have no high points to which they can aspire because of how absolutely dreary the story line continues to be. It is a non-stop slog through crud and grime which that will not wash off. Original programming it certainly is, but that says very little, well actually nothing in this case, in terms of offering a compelling story and character dimension, quality, and the promise of any fulfilling payoff for watching this series. If your idea of good television drama is watching the story of chronic bottom-feeding by lost degenerates, then have at it, but for me it's pure trash.

HangingOver This show is intelligent. It develops over time. Normally, I can sort out after 2 episodes just how it will end. Not this time. In general I assume these types of shows plan for season 1 and dig themselves an impossible hole to dig out of. This show went the smart way and just did it right from the beginning - but you have to stick with it. Too bad the morons of the world gave it a 6. I would have said 8 but slapped a 9 on it to try balance out the idiots. This show is simply well done.Granted a second season. I will watch, for sure. No idea where it will go. And that is a good thing! Hope for a 3rd!

jrobert859 I really wanted to like this show. It looked great with nice cinematography and a decent looking cast but then I watched it for 20 minutes. The cinematography ended up being repetitive and overly stylistic to the extent that it became a distraction. It seemed like all of the scenes were dark with overly done dramatic lighting. Great cinematography should not call attention to itself and after a shor time this does that all too often. The reason seems to be in line with this show's theme and biggest problems. Rogue wants to be this edgy stylistic show but fails miserably because it tries to hard to do that with not enough substance to start with.I do not mind the occasional f-bomb but when it comes as often as it does in this show laced with overly dramatic stupid dialouge it falls flat. Just because you can swear and get naked does not mean that you have a good show. If you are going to take me on that kind of a journey then at least have a reason to do it beyond cheap seansationalism. Just because you can does not mean that you should. F words and sex scenes do not make a show great and "edgy" and it looks like that was the driving focus for the creators of this show. We are going to do a bunch of stuff not allowed on network TV and critics will fall all over us for being edgy. Unfortunately they left out just about everything else that make a story interesting and engaging. By the way from several reviews I have read the critcs are not impressed nor was I.
