Reviews

Kevin O'Reilly A gigantic chasm of feces...the end. but seriously this show is unwatchable. Not a single character on this show is interesting and every actor is embarrasing. Congratulations to Robert Picardo for being the worst doctor ever. They are lost, yet not at all lost for even an episode of this waste of time production. TOS/TNG/DS9/even ENT were all great. But not Voyager, because it's quite simply the worst Star Trek Ever.
swerver-28809 I remember liking this show when I was younger. I just got through binge watching it online and every season there is a couple of "to be continued" episodes that are pretty good. The rest of it just seems like more of a soap opera than a sci-fi show. As a Star Trek fan I like the style of the ship a lot more than the typical Enterprise look.
arcticsekai This was the year I decided to get into Star Trek; I wanted to start with Voyager for no reason other than I LOVE Kate Mulgrew and now as a whole I also LOVE Star Trek: Voyager.I could have absolutely done without the forced romance between Seven and Chakotay come season 7; especially since there was a much, much better and more natural chemistry between him and Janeway since the beginning. It was extremely cringe worthy and read more like a basic 'fan fiction' level of writing. I binge watched this show so the change in romance interests for Chakotay seemed really out of the blue.Overall the show is amazing and by far one of my forever favorites. Don't get me wrong, it is certainly flawed and can get silly, but I feel this show in no way deserves the abuse that it gets.I'm really sad that there are no more Voyager episodes ): time for another re-watch! "Set a course, for home"
fp_ff_fp Way back in 1997, I had the chance to catch an episode of ST:Voyager on my TV with the antenna after fidgeting with it for a bit... it picked up UPN and I saw ST:Voyager in half color, poor audio and I remember thinking this is not good. I put off ST:Voyager since then and never gave it a second thought. Recently, I just rewatched an episode of ST:TOS for nostalgia sake and Netflix recommended ST:Voyager and I thought "why not?". Watched an episode, was struck by how much soul and heart the episode had. Came to tmdb.org (the new IMDb) and saw several mentioned good episodes. Randomly happened upon "Blink of an eye" and I was hooked. Now, that episode is the epitome of Sci-Fi. IMO, that is the best SciFi episode OF ALL TIME. I don't think anything can top that. The only one that comes close is "Inner light" from ST:TNG and "Window of Opportunity" from Stargate:SG1ST:Voyager imo is the best Star Trek of all time. I have watched it all and I am mesmerized by it tbh. Captain Janeway is stellar and imo the best captain of them all - you can watch her grow from a science officer-y background to this command woman with a command voice. Seven of Nine left a mark - terrific acting, terrific sense of dialog delivery and of course ravishing beauty. Chakotay was excellent. Tuvok - simply amazing. Dare I say he made a better vulcan than Spock himself! Torres, Kim, Paris were great. The EMH Doctor was terrific. Overall, this is one amazing show. So glad at least I watched now and I have a great sense of appreciation for it.
