mchlbk-216-269238 In my memory this show was a 7/10.20 years after the show ended much has happened and the show comes off as a very politically correct, very white, very suburbian, very safe day-time soap.I've changed my rating to 5/10.
strings385 This show is one of my favorite sitcoms of all time. It was a good show for the whole family to sit down and watch. It was funny and had good plot lines. My favorite character was by far Karen. She was so hot! I had the biggest crush on her! lol Does anyone know what ever happened to her and all the other actors from the show? I have never seen or heard about them since Step by Step went off the air. Anyway, if you get a chance, watch this show, it's in syndication on ABC Family channel!
Arthur Fiore "Step By Step," while not the greatest TV show ever, was certainly not the worst! It wasn't a bad little show. Those people who never saw the show, and are looking to the user comments here in order to find out whether or not the show was any good, there's a message to be found in all the negative comments that have been posted here. It should be noted that in those bashing reviews that the grammar is so atrocious and that so many of the words are misspelled. What does that tell you? And, to all you super critics, you're not fooling anyone by your use of BIG words like "targeted", "innuendo", "propaganda", "relegated", etc. For people who seem to know so much about what makes a great comedy series, Why aren't they writing great ones and dazzling us all with all their Emmys?
Thurin One of the best comedies I ever seen. What's more important, this show is funny and entertaining from the beginning (1991) to the very end (1998) - for the whole 7 years. That's remarkable. For today's shows that's very rare!
