Reviews

atomius I must say that i would rate this animated show 7/10. Very enjoyable. So, the characters look like they were drawn by a two year old, the point is that the comedy is hilarious. Nice use of colour to portray every day scenes. Any person can relate to the characters, and i think the voices are done excellently. I sure hope that they make another series. The characters themselves are very well made. I love he theme song too. The scenes are very realistic too. The school building looks like a real school unlike some animations like "The Simpsons". It follows the lives of a group of children and some adult humanoids. All in all i think it's a great filler of spare time that any network should have.
Sparrow_in_flight Wow, I wish this show was still around - it entertained me, at least. I admit, the animation isn't that great, but those who view the show need to remember where this cartoon is coming from: the idea of kids illustrating their own fantasies - so why not have the stick figures? And the crazy swirls? And the dark clouds over people's heads to represent anger? It worked, it was true to how kids without great talent would probably draw. And the activities of the characters were very funny - I remember one episode where Bradley was supposed to be a superhero...but it wasn't working well. The storylines were true to kids fantasies, in my opinion. It was great fun while it lasted.
cure_glo88 Yes, to an adult seeing this show for the first time, Stickin' Around seems like a stupid, poorly-drawn show. But when I saw this as an eight year old, it was the funniest thing on Earth. And now when I go back to Canada to visit, I always make sure I watch this show. The guy (I think named Dill) is so funny. I call him "the guy with the wiggling socks". And that girl who always drags around her dead dog named pepperoni, it is hilarious. It is that kind of show that is made by the wierd comedy.
wishkah7 What kind of cheap animation was this? I saw this cartoon once on a Saturday morning while I was waiting for my friends to come pick me up to go to the mall. I have to say that this is the absolute worst piece of rubbish (since The Simpsons) I have seen in my life! The animation was all a bunch of cheaply drawn stick figures and the characters were all, as Richard Pryor would say, "null, dull, and void"! Stickin' Around was a celluloid piece of animated trash! Just look at the title, itself. A 6 year old would hate this! The kids in the cartoon acted like the usual smart-alleck kid on a sit-com. Of course, there were also the antagonist bullies. There was just nothing good about this, no humor, no in depth storyline, even the dialogue was lame. Sometimes I wonder if this cartoon was really unpopular with kids at the time it was out.Don't get me started on that character 'Dill'. What were they thinking? And when I looked this show up, I learned it actually had 2 seasons! This crap makes Beavis and Butthead look funny! Well, at least this cartoon is totally forgotten into oblivion.
