cinephile-27690 This 7.5 hour adaptation of the Bible is nothing short of fantastic. Everyone did a great job acting and it looks great! Just don't watch it on TV because it airs a 45 minute part for 2 HOURS! If I had to criticize one thing, it would be that more stories could have been told. Joseph and the Coat, Ruth, Jonah, Esther, Gideon, etc. are among the stories they skip over-but of course they wanted to go by the basics. Very worth watching, can't say enough good things about it.
dannybennett-36090 The black Sampson and Samurai Angels kind of ruined it for me. The story of Sodom was not even remotely accurate. Also, the story of Moses was odd to watch. CGI was poorly used. There were opportunities where it would have added to the storyline but they left it out. And other times, such as in the Moses storyline, where it was over done. Very odd.
bw57 I give it 1 star because I find it offensive to show Obama a confirmed Muslim and Christian hater at beginning of this. Whose idea was that. don't you remember his remark about Christians? he is a number one Agent for Anti Christ and ISIS supporter. just look around. the series itself is all over the place.so disconnected . a twelve year old must have directed this. the only part they got right is the Devil which looks exactly like Obama.
jameskcdn1 This most recent biblical film could have been so good... After "consulting 47 theological advisers (including Rick Warren, and one rabbi)"... how is it that so many things were not done correctly?Yes, one wonders how any involved could have not consulted the Bible. To list all factual errors would be another mini-series, but I will say we KNOW what the key Bible coins look like -and they got them wrong. Some are so inexpensive it would have been less costly to use the real deal instead of a poor prop! in this area I give you a generous -1(disgraceful)! Like Judas, these advisers should seek to return their payment!
