I watch horror movies by the boatload, in hopes of finding a hidden gem here or there. It's what I do. I am accustomed to being disappointed but occasionally, I am rewarded by finding something special. This was one such occasion. I'm surprised this movie passed under my radar. I almost didn't even bother with it having heard almost nothing of it but watched it after finding it included in a list of someone's favorite horror films.Generally my tastes are primarily for supernatural horror not your typical hack and slash film but a movie with a slow build up that doesn't reveal too much too soon. Unknown to me previously, this movie was based on the book by James Wrath White who is one of the new generation of supernatural horror writers who I had actually read some books by. Like his contemporary writers Edward Lee, Mr. White generally writes stories of extreme supernatural or eldritch unexplainable horror which can be an acquired taste. It is well produced, well acted and well filmed which are wonderful pluses but it also has an original plot and is well-directed and could have easily fallen short if not handled by a good director.Definitely worth a watch. The ending caught me completely off-guard (not easy to do in a horror flick) and was outstanding!

These modern day lower budget horrors always seem to come up trumps. No big named actors, no media hype but are a lot more effective.Come Back To Me will have you in many ways enthralled to find out whats happening. The movie starts off in Las Vegas 2002, a meth addicted father kills his partner in front of their 14 year old son... Skipped many years in to the present day married couple College grad Sarah and Casino worker Josh welcome new neighbour Dale (who is the boy from the 2002 incident) Things start to become very weird Sarah starts having vivid nightmares and tremors that are leaving her traumatised. Believing its down to a var accident she had months back Josh and her pregnant friend Leslie (who also suffered similar things) shrug it off. Its only until Sarah falls pregnant the twists begin... Josh is infertile. Sarah notices a hidden camera in her bedroom revealing a horrific truth which also impacts on Leslie...I wont spoil the ending but its one of those you thought you saw coming but it has another twist...Come Back To Me is worth a watch!! The right amount of gore the little that's needed, a psychological feel throughout and the aspect of paranormal is in their as well

Watching this movie i was thinking this is a fu##ed up version of Mientras duermes (2011), which i thought will be good.And to my surprise was not, after we get what was going on the movie started to turn into a POS, actually a big one.The music in this movie ... all the fu##ing time announce me that something's up, i hate when they use that gimmick.Of course the ending who saved this movie was actually pretty good, i didn't expect that but let's be honest this sh#te doesn't deserve more than 6 and 6 only for the ending, it's an average movie.If you have doubts about this before buying it, take my advice and don't waste your time and money.

This was a really good film with excellent acting and good score. The locations were just OK but the story and directing made up for that. Just goes to show good films can be made without big names. I always enjoy a movie where you don't know what's going to happen, this certainly did that for me on many occasions.It has you involved from the start to the end with strong conviction. The leads are great.This should have got more press.Totally recommend to watch! Good story! Good acting! Great score! Great Directing!! Don't be put off by rating! Good scares!!Don't miss this one!!!!! A fun watch! On Netflix too!!
