Paesito Paez (chavotocino)
Not bad, but felt too self congratulatory and pretentious at times and the characters become unlikeable towards half the movie.-The monologues from the main guy are pretentious -The girl becomes unberable towards the end. But the message is still great and the TV reality spoofs are hilariousThe movie could have been amazing for me if they just showed instead of giving the characters dialogue that is supposed to be so clever and sharp when it comes as just unneeded.I'm giving it 6.0 out of 10

This black, black comedy hits home right from the start and shows what a cruel and uncaring and callous world this has become, mainly through the mindless drivel shown on t.v. Joel Murray is very good in the main role as a dying man who just wants people to be nice and respectful to others. Film is similar in theme to " Falling Down" but is even better.Director Bobcat Goldthwait shows he is better behind the camera than he is in front of it. Manages some rather moving and touching moments among the pathos and it makes you think at times. Film loses it's way a little in the later stages but it does enough to make it a good film, not for all tastes though.

The first Bobcat movie I saw was World's Greatest Dad, which was another excellent piece, but God Bless America just blew my mind in so many directions! With it's intention to punish the wicked it reminded me of another great dark comedy, The Last Supper. This was just so incredible. I don't know if there's much else I can say that hasn't already been said about this movie. I will say I had no clue Bobcat was this much of a genius. Always did enjoy his silly roles like on Police Academy and his comedy routines, but WOW! I love movies like this that force you to think, that show you ball busting honest social satire! I am so grateful that Netflix had this movie, and I gave it a shot, (haha shot). I loved it but I did give it a 9 out of 10, mostly because I wish there would have been more explanations to things, specifically the little girl and her intentions and what caused her to go along with this. Yes she did explain a little bit about her life with her family, however there could have been more, was she bullied in school, or was it that she just had psychotic personality and just flat out enjoyed it. I guess it's good though that they are letting the audience draw conclusions and that it was a bit exaggerated, but still funny and honest. But this movie was definitely a cautionary tale, beware pushing someone too far, they may make you eat your parents in chili, like Cartman did.

Frank gets fired because of a minor flirt whit a receptionist and has troubles at home with his rude neighbors. He decides to make justice and shoots everyone who bothers him or acts inappropriate in society. Soon she mets a young girls called Roxy who shares the same principles as him and forms a team do kill all the jerks in the country. This time we have to be grateful that is just a movie but the concept is crass. Think that this sort of things happened in real life and I wonder if that killer inspired himself after watching a movie like this? or if a troubled person who see this and wants to do the same? Will not be wrong? I'm surprised that it has a good rating because films like this should be banned forever. The best part is the end where the two are finally getting killed. That is the blessing for me. Hope you understand me why.
