I will be honest I back when I saw this movie I wasn't very keen on mature DC back in 2015 but as time went on I got into them.I will be honest this might not be the best DC movie I have seen but it is reasonable but I kinda wish that the movie was longer because it is not even 1 hour, in fact, it is the same amount of time as it takes for a CW series episode length. I was actually even more happy that they got Diedrich Bader back as Batman and Kevin Michael Richardson as Black Manta. In fact, the whole cast was good. In these, I am very surprised that not many people know who Karate Kid is. He is not from the movie Karate Kid he is from Legion Of Superheroes another DC TV show, in fact, there is an episode dedicated to him.If you are a fan of DC golden age heroes, Superfriends and Batman the brave and the bold then you might love this movie.

Lex Luthor is frozen during a battle with the Justice League. He thaws out in the 31st century, discovers Time Trapper and prevents Superman's arrival to Earth as a baby. Future teen heroes Karate Kid and Dawnstar must stop him. With some OK little heroes and some pretty confusing back and forth things in the Timeline the story kinda falls back in some places sure but it's made for kids just like Batman: Unlimited does it's nowhere near as bad Batman & Robin tho be thankful for god people. Besides no movie comes close to that God's and Monsters movie that was pure abomination a vampire Batman? yeah right maybe in 1.000.000 years. I had fun with JLA Adventures: Trapped in Time it was a fun movie and that's all you need to know

What I see with the previous reviews, is jaded cynicism where probably grown folks have forgotten how to be children and have fun like children. This movie is a huge nod to the Super Friends and it borrows the tone heavily, with painfully obvious, perhaps intentional, dramatic convenient situations that are to be expected, it shows intricate concepts like time traveling in a very simplistic manner, because it knows that even with a smooth talking convoluted explanation like most movies do in an attempt to gain a more serious tone these days, it's still a topic that for most of us is beyond our grasp and therefore it doesn't bother with it, since really, any explanation would do.But it all works to show a side of the DC characters that we haven't seen in a LONG time, the silly and heart touching side, every character is eventually involved in a joke to the point of almost putting a Scooby-doo chase scene, and I don't mean that in a bad way, I couldn't help but to smile, giggle and laugh at the many absurd situations and lines that just work their way to your childhood, but there's more, it's not a comedy. The action is by far the best I've seen in a long time, the unfortunate comparison is with SoB, which is rendered outdated by this movie, every move flows beautifully and I truly felt excited while watching the fight scenes that even show in detail that some characters are supposed to be expert martial artists... SoB did not succeed at all in this department. The animation is leaps and bounds better than the previous Son of Batman, the drawings aren't on the cheap side like the mentioned movie, where they seem to be running out and save in graphite, the same goes for the voice acting, even if we don't hear any of the regular voices, the delivery is not overly dramatic and is natural instead, making every line and/or joke not seem forced, all the contrary.Like I said, expect dramatic convenience that is borderline shameless, but that is what this movie is, shameless of itself, it just wants you to have fun and it delivers. Bring out your inner child and have a good time with this movie.

The above reviews are correct, this title is sub-par compared to the last decade of great animated movies DC has given us.And now obviously there's to be a sequel. Ugh! I should have known that any animated DC title without a PG-13 rating would be for 12 year old and I was right!Avoid this thing like the plaque. This thing is a MAJOR step back for DC animation....
