Nicolae Dumitrascu Most of all I like the existential implications of the story. I like how she- Natalie- is saved from a ready-made destiny by her encounter with a boy whose "limit is the sky" (the thanatic, tragic sense of this stereotypic phrase is apparent only later in the movie). I like how Natalie lets herself transformed by her love for Keith. I like her strength to unconditionally surrender to a relationship that is fatally marked by closure even before it starts. I like that her love actually saves Keith as well from his loneliness and anger with the world and gives him a last chance to fully experience the most extraordinary thing that can happen to a human being: love and connectedness.
Kelsey Wicker Keith was a very unexpectedly great movie. Most movies don't captivate my full attention but this movie had me glued to my TV screen. It was a well thought-out movie that captured your heart and left you wanting more after every plot twist. The main characters acting is so professional that it leads you to feel the same emotions they feel.It is quite possibly the best independent film I've ever seen. If you want a movie that will make you feel many emotions then this is the movie to watch. Jesse Mcartney did an amazing job convincing me that he had issues in this movie. I like how the director kept you guessing. I personally love sitting on the edge of my seat during a movie and this film didn't disappoint. Don't miss out. It is on netflix by the way. I highly recommend this film. Enjoy 😊
cyim89 *SPOILERS*Like many others, this movie gave me raw emotions and such a wonderful performance by all involved. Never seen the girl but I was impressed and as for Jesse, this was my first time seeing him act (never watched Summerland) and was also impressed. So believable and I'm totally beguiled by their romance - talk about magnificent heartbreak.I've seen some posts about Keith being sociopathic and questioned it myself. But I'm come to the conclusion that Keith really did want to just "have fun" with her since he knew he was dying soon. Low and behold, they both fell deep in love and knowing this, I think Keith couldn't resist her but still did not want to hurt her and therefore was the jerk that he was - pushed her away after making love, saying things like "go be with Raff", etc. Finally though, we see at the airport that he confesses his love for her as well (even though with some resistance and a little later than Natalie did). I think at this point, Keith accepts their relationship and stops pushing back and is now free - he will now love her the way he truly wants to even though he will die soon. He gives into it and lets it happen instead of pushing her away because he's too scared to hurt her. Now he will be truly happy and accepts that although he's sick, he is still worthy of true love.GAhh...see it for yourselves, I'm about to watch it again tonight. Their chemistry and love is just so perfect and beyond anything I've seen on film in a very long time (can't even recall a film at this time that can compare to their chemistry).
Abhipriyo Dev Boy likes 'out of league' girl movies have been made now and then. But this one is different. Boy likes 'out of league girl', girl has her perfect life in front of her, then boy stalks into her life and from then on her life is not the same. What adds charm to the movie is the sophisticate character of Keith (played brilliantly by Jesse McCartney), the male lead. He has charm, has street smart style, artistic approach and is passionate about his truck. On top of that, he is deep mysterious. On the other hand Miss Anderson (played by Elisabeth Haronis), the female lead is the flavor of the movie. She who seems to have a sorted out life but is largely in a mess and Keith is to be blamed for it. The story is well-written-presented with beautiful scenes and a nice ending. However, the role of supporting characters could have been more.On the whole, this is a must watch teenage love film which you won't forget for some time. 7/10 stars.
