Bruce Stevens This is the best DVD ever. Mr Warner has made himself into a franchise and for all good reasons. I would like to consider myself Manson's number one fan and i don't care what other fans have to say. I'm not one of those fans who dress like him and make themselves look like him. I'm a fan being myself like Manson said to all his fans that tell him they want to be like him. I'm not one of those guys who take drugs in fact i would never even think about. I'm just passionate for his music and think it is the best god dam music out there to date with all this R&B s@#t. At least Manson raisers decent issues in his music not like 'Don't funk with my heart'. I would like to meet a chick out there who is as crazy about Manson like me and also consider themselves his number one fan. I've met quite a few but none that are honorable enough. P.S i have to add in the word 'grotesgue' in anything i write.
filmfreak-5 ..I gotta say, I'm a HUGE fan, so hopefully that doesn't shine too much through in this praise, hehe. This video is amazing, I attended his concert in Copenhagen during this tour, and the video catches almost all the athmosphere there... I'll give it a 7 out of 10, though. It's not a perfect (!) as Nine Inch Nails' "And All That Could Have Been", and it kinda destroys the being-there-feeling a lot that a lot of pictures from different shows are edited together. Whig on, whig off, where's that wig now, if you catch my drift. But all in all, amazing, and see it, if you're the least into Manson...!
Barry (manson21) I like this marilyn manson guns god and government. i am really big fan of mr manson music you see my fave manson song is Antichrist Superstar but on this live DVD only played some of it not all of it and i felt that been rip off somehow and wish there was little more beside the death prade. giving it 8/10 Hope the next one might be better if there is one
Krakker_Jakk This is probably the Mansons' best live video and their first DVD. The DVD features selectable songs and a documentary directed by Mr. Manson himself called, "The Death Parade." As far as the "songs" go, they are a little inacurately performed. This isn't a big deal except it doesn't really give you the "Guns, God, and Government" experience that we are promised. I was at a concert that had used the same set and props as most of the tour. Most of the DVD is shot at 1 show in California and it has some noticeable differences. "The Love Song" on the DVD has Manson walking around dressed as the pope (at the other concerts, it was during "Valentine's Day") instead of standing atop a giant podium like Hitler. This is probably because it was too similair to the performace of "Antichrist Superstar" (also on there). He walked on stilts during "The Nobodies" on the DVD instead of during "Tourniquet" and so on. It's not a big deal and is still a badass DVD, but most of it takes place during 1 show instead of giving us the entire "Guns, God, and Government" WORLD Tour we were promised. Overall, it's very entertaining to watch. The Death Parade is hiliarious (Happy Birthday John 5!). It's not for everybody (ex: People who hate Manson or people who with a week stomach (Manson suffers a really bad knee injury)), but for those Manson fans out there, this is a real trip.
