This was a pretty tedious flick. It peaked my interest because I'm a fan of the "ghost ship" type horror. Event Horizon, The Thing, Aliens, etc. Movies where the people are trapped in a desolate location with the bad guys.It was indeed this kind of flick, but not in the same league as the ones mentioned above. The acting wasn't bad, but not great either. It's one of those non-conclusive type movies. Some movies do the "leave the ending up to viewers interpretation" trick well, this one does it OK. You could do worse, but you could do better. :) 4/10.

I torturously watched this movie all the way to the end just to figure out what it was supposed to be about. Other than an opportunity for the hot chick to display her goods the movie was so obscure and muddled in tidbits of reality and hallucination that it lost all interest or belief. It must've been on a very low budget with only a few main characters and what appears to be a deserted drilling operation. It was probably a test drilling for water and then abandoned. So the location was cheap the facilities were cheap and special effects were cheap. And they only had a few actors. Otherwise a good springboard for the attractive blonde.

I guess I wasn't expecting too much - Mr Paul is a fairly average actor who has been lucky to land a long running series, and I hadn't heard of the female lead at all. So not high expectations I guess. But I was pleasantly surprised. There was a decent plot line, the acting wasn't awful and the special effects were, if not blockbuster, were certainly fine. The tightness of the set made for a taut thriller which relied heavily on the acting chops of the two principals. It was definitely one of these films where you were waiting for the next twist to come along, and like the male lead, you have a niggling feeling that it's not finished yet. With a bigger budget and a couple of named stars, this would have been right up there with the best films of the year. It needed a slightly more defined end and stronger performances, as well as some steadier camera work to build menace rather than spinning round to show confusion, but apart from that really not a bad film at all. Begging for a remake.

There's nothing good to say about this movie. Its over-long, the acting's bad, the special effects are crappy, the plot is weak and its utterly un-entertaining.This is the single worst film I have seen in years. Starts out with a promising premise, but dissolves into cliché.The no-name actors do an awful job. The acting is wooden and utterly unconvincing. The thing thats most irritating about it is that there is virtually no plot. The premise gets ridden out after about the first 45 minutes and then its just a bunch of standard devices used over and over to try to 'keep you guessing'. The result is phenomenally tedious. There's nothing here for lovers of this genre. Its just badly done. period. 90 mins of your life you will never get back if you are unlucky enough to get stuck in front of it.1 out of 10.
