gkekoa I am not a global warming alarmist and found this movie extremely hokey. If you can get beyond that, and get beyond research science of this movie basically just using words from "The Big Bang Theory," then it is worth a watch. Oh yeah, the main guy cries a whole lot too.Look...it isn't a good movie or even a little below average movie, but it isn't as bad as some make it out to be.

jroyle-20957 After watching this movie on Netflix, i couldn't believe how terrible it was. Worst movie I've ever watched. I went to check the reviews to see if i was the only one... but No! There's not one review that's good about it.. what were the producers thinking about? I've enjoyed all these funny reviews more than oceans rising. All the actors careers are now over!

sarah-11315 I am watching this movie right now and I had to look on here to see what kind of reviews it was getting, as I have never watched a movie this terrible in all my life. And I have watched some bad ones.The only way this movie could get any better is if everyone dies at the end. I'm not sure if I'll make it that far though.

Leofwine_draca OCEANS RISING is another dreadful disaster movie from The Asylum which is about a Biblical flood affecting mankind. The hero of the hour is a guy who builds a modern-day Noah's ark in order to survive impending disaster, and of course the powers that be don't believe him. The film is a mix of trite dialogue, clumsy plotting, bad acting, and typically terrible CGI effects; the whole thing is drawn-out, mindless, and a chore to sit through.
