Thank Goodness i watched this movie. Almost did not because of the reviews. i don't know why anyone wont like this movie. Its nice, had a great story line and kept me wondering how it was going to end. The songs were great in my opinion, i loved it. I was a bit worried about the friendship developed at the end and wondered if the real prince was going to end up with the princess which of course would have made me sad. the only thing i didn't quite like was that the bad guys (the prince's brother) went away without any punishment, despite the fact that he tried to murder the prince. I don't expect anyone to trust a person who tried to murder him instantaneously. this is my first Salman Khan movie and i think i like him now. It was a good nice story line in my opinion.

It's my first review and i know i am posting after long time.I was like you peoples who always watch movies on review or rating basis.Because of bad reviews and against reviews, i never wanted to watch itbut affection for salman khan, made me watch this movie. After watching, i was really shocked because of reviews against this movie. It is one of the best movie of salman khan. It is must watch movie specially for families or those who watch movies with family. I recommend everyone to watch this movie and don't go for the wrong reviews. It has great love,harmony and Mutuality story. A great acting by salman khan and sonam kapoor. Sooraj you Rock man !

Rajhshree Productions has made a reputation of giving nice family oriented movies. The expectations were high following "Maine Pyar Kiya," "Hum Aapke Hain Koun," "Vivaah," and "Hum Saath Saath Hain." But this time the expectations haven't been met, and the film just backfires and leaves you cheated. A weak adaptation of "The Prince and the Pauper", the story is too dramatic which feels silly at times and way the things are resolved just highlights the weakness in story telling. The film fails to create the time period of the plot. Besides, the performances are also mediocre. Salman's role is not different than that in "Bajrangi Bhaijan," with the similar diction and dialogues which becomes adequate. Actually, his characterization looks a bit tailor made and has glibness. Neil Nitin Mukesh and Sonam Kapoor are both mediocre in terms of roles and performances. Anupam Kher looks surprisingly good in his role. If there is anything to adore in the film, it's the beautiful sets and few good songs, which doesn't make the film a total let down.Rating: 1 star out of 4
