Jean Stark This is a very cheap movie, the actors are never going to make movie stars, but this is normal for this genre. Fortunately it has a good story, and Elieen Daly looks very sexy, the montage is good and it has some nice shots. It is different to see England make this kind of movie, which are normally made in the USA, so it looks different to usual modern vampire movies.I have not seen any other film from Jake West but I will be interested to see what happen when he has more money.I gave this 6/10 and think it is a good movie for if you like sexy vampires and can see passed the limits of the money.
cmyates42 "You know f*** all about vampires" The opening dialog totally describes this movie. The star is trying to tell the audience about vampires, but she should have told this to the writers, director and producer of this film (and everyone else who had anything to do with this movie). Absolutely the worst film I have ever even heard of. It appears to have been shot with a home video camera. The acting is substandard and the plot is totally ridiculous. The only positive feature is the concept of the movie. Avoid at all costs. Do not watch just to see if it is worth it. It is not. this movie is a disgrace to all movies ever made in england, or the known world, for that matter.
Markmainwaring In recent years Briatin as been making a lot of straight to video horror fodder. Proteus and Cradle of Fear to name but a few. This is one of the better examples. But it is often condemned by critics. Unfairly I think. Its actually quite a good film.Okay so it looks like it was shot on camcorder for £5.58. And the acting is very amateur. It as a lot of flair and style. The action scenes are quite well done considering the budget. The James Bond style opening is great. A surprising twist ending. And a brilliant and disgusting lesbian scene. Don't expect to much and you wont get to much.It deserves a watch. It as all the features of a franchise in the making. Unfortunately I don't think we will ever see a sequel...
cyodine The movie Razor Blade Smile has an interesting title as well as leading role. Now most may not like this movie for the plot and acting was a little cheap, but that is the appeal of a movie like Razor Blade Smile. In a way it was suppose to be bad movie. However, if you watch this movie all the way through the end you'll see it is as I said a cheap vampire flick with a little humor. (Also how they manipulated colours in a few scenes is very interesting.) So in conclusion this movie is a type you rent and laugh at with your friends and enjoy it for what it is. For no movie is throughly bad. As Lilith Silver says: "Humans just don't smile enough..."
