Reviews

rherrick-1 slow start but the scenes between the two stars are just great. wonderful chemistry from two great comedians. Patricia is particularly wonderful. I did not see her in ELR and sorry I missed that. What a wonderful screen presence. She is funny.Ty Burrell does a scene where he is shot with a stun gun and it is perfect. He deserves an award just for this scene.Look forward to more episodes. by the way, the girl who plays the daughter is a real find. back to the slow start. I was not initially that impressed but watching the two stars develop their relationship I am convinced this is a winner. great physical comedy
tarulparekh This show is infused with a concoction of witty, hilarious one liners and good old fashioned sexual chemistry between the two main protagonists, Heaton and Grammar. The casting agents have hit the nail on the head with the wonderful ensemble of supporting actors which really do justice to their characters. It is hard to disassociate grammar from frasier crane, but it must be said, the transition from frasier to chuck was a smooth and successful one, one which was to my awe and surprise, this just further reinforces the theory he is one of the finest actors to grace our television sets. I predict this show will provide many years of laughter and excitement for us all.
godzillandg It has great potential. The pilot was great, it blew us out of the water with it's one liners. And the tear jerker at the end, it was great. The second episode was good. But the third and fourth were let downs. Probably because Ty Burrell had a diminished part in both episodes. And then this past episode, Night of Possibilities, aired. It had some of the same quality as the first episode. It's a good show, but again it's not as good as some other shows. I hope it gets lots of seasons but if they don't continue the standard set in the pilot I don't see how it will make it past season three. On to the Players! It's great to see Kelsey Grammar back in action. I loved Frasier and I want to love this show so for Kelsey I'm watching.Patrica Heaton is also fun to watch her and Kelsey have great... No, wonderful chemistry.Fred Willard, that old lovable idiot. He throws the lines masterfully. Ty Burrell, I didn't realize he was on the show until it aired. And what a joyful surprise that was. He is such a great physical actor just like David from Frasier. (Niles Crane)Adya Field, looks like a bimbo but she actually has a brain which is refreshing to see.Josh Gad, I like him but, he shouldn't be a series regular. He could appear in a lot of episodes but just not as a big part of the show. He's a great guest star. All in all, it's a good show. So give it a chance and lets hope the writers step it up a notch.
Briana Melendez I gave it a couple of episodes and it gets funnier. I saw the Pilot and was disappointed but I have continued to watch it and now I look forward to it every week.I don't think you should think of Frasier or Everybody loves Raymond when you watch this show because the characters are not the same. Patricia Heaton and Kelsey Grammar are playing totally different roles and think they play them brilliantly. Now that Kelsey has found out that he has a daughter Patricia doesn't feel he is mature enough to handle the responsibility. Watching this grown man try to be a grown up is very funny. I think the supporting cast is good, not as great as the original shows these two actors were involved in, but I will give it time.
