Reviews

roamc this is the most painful thirty minutes of programming on television. the writing is hackneyed and the jokes are terrible. whoever thought an imaginary ref would be a good gimmick should be out of a job. i have the feeling that this one will be replaced by mid-season.
Fetisha I wasn't sure what to expect from this show, but I know that it fulfilled more than my expectations of it from the first episode alone. The script was witty and each of the characters had their own unique and equally funny sense of humors. The shows' stars, definitely push this new comedy above the average. Breckin Meyer (Road Trip, Clueless) is the charming and lovable star who is in a never ending, and entertaining struggle to gain back his ex, and fulfill his dreams of being a sports caster. Supporting actors Richard Kline (Three's Company), Maggie Lawson (Model Behavior, Pleasantville) and especially comedian Bryan Callen (Mad TV, Oz) bring life to this possible dead end comedy. Though he plays the more irreverent role, Bryan Callen (the buddy) is probably the most comedic person on the show, and holds a lot of the shows entertainment. As long as there is more sports guest stars then one baseball field can hold, I think this show will remain in the top spots. Definitely worth a look
stiletto78 This show, upon viewing only the first episode, seems promising. It has a pretty good cast with Richard Kline (from Three's Company) and Breckin Meyer (Road Trip, Rat Race). All I have to say about it is that it's promising, cause I've only seen one episode. Of course, the first episodes will always be plagued by having to introduce characters and their environment, so let's see what the future may hold for this show. Definitely worthwhile for a new sitcom. The character's are somewhat enjoyable, and the guest appearances are sensational, and very funny (ie: Mills Lane or Bill Buckner have two very funny appearances in the first episode). I can't wait to see what personalities will pop up next on the show. I highly suggest you view it before you listen to harsh critics. Needs to be seen to be understood.
schwartz As a Schwartz, I'm embarrassed by this show. Just when my family lived down that whole "May The Schwartz Be With You" thing from Spaceballs, we get this show shoved down our throats. Luckily, like most hammock shows, this one won't live long. Unfortunately, we still have to watch it while waiting for Will and Grace. The show is like Dream On without the nudity, or the comedy for that matter. Avoid as much as you can. Maybe that way Miriam Shor will be able to find a better place for the talent she showed in 'Hedwig and the Angry Inch' as the guy with the goatee. In fact, go rent that flick. You could break it up into half hour chunks and watch it while Inside Schwartz is on the air.
